I know that when we first start off writing a blog we think to ourselves, “how am I going to make this successful?” Ultimately the basis of your success depends on how well you write blog posts. If you write well written, big content, often, then you have higher chances of success just based off of those factors.

However, there are loads of resources available out there that can help you get started or improve your blog.

            Let’s get started.

The library

If you need a computer, the library is there. If you need a book about blogging, the library is there. And guess what? All of it is free! For me personally, if I wanted a computer, then all I would have to do is go to the nearest public library (which is about a mile away) and tell them that I would like to write some things for a little bit and use their computers. It’s that easy!

I don’t have to pay for internet connection, I don’t have to pay for a computer, and everything is fast with a work space that is neat and clutter free.

If you don’t have a computer, don’t make excuses as to why you can’t start your blog. Use the resource of a library and make the most of it.

Also, the Library has books on writing, English, math, anything that you want to further your career as a writer, the library has.

So, take advantage of the library.

This one you pay for, but it’s cheap

There are courses online that teach you how to do things. Everything is imaginable in those courses. From Mixing music, to producing music, from writing blog posts, to writing grant proposals, everything is there.

You can also use it for your career. Sometimes people want to see that you can actually do something rather than having the degree. If you show that you have a certificate in something, it will look impressive.

            It’s cheap too!

I have gotten a mixing masterclass for 14 dollars. And there are similar things around that too.

Try Udemy, you have to have a high school diploma in order to get enrolled though so try and get your GED or high school diploma first.

However, there are tons of other websites like that.

Try Coursera too. That one is a little more expensive.

Some free writing software

Everyone knows what google is. Everyone knows that you should be saving your work on a separate file. If that’s the case, google would be the perfect thing for you.

Google has google docs. It’s a software, like word, where you can write as much as you want and save those documents too on a cloud.

Of course there’s limited space, but you can upgrade to the unlimited version for just a few dollars more.

I personally have used google docs I think once as a blogger. However, some people like the fact of saving it on a cloud and having it easily shared with other people.

I personally thinks that, that’s a lack of privacy and I don’t like that, but hey it’s up to you.

Of course you can always change that setting, but I still don’t like to have it on something that is accessible to everyone.

Purdue Owl

I know that writing essays and writing blog posts are different, but there are still some aspects of regular scholarly writing that we still use in blog posts.

            For example, punctuation.

We all use punctuation because it makes things clearer, so you too should be able to use punctuation.

Writing styles can also affect what happens in the blog post.

And all of these things can be found in Purdue Owl.

Purdue Owl is an amazing resource for writers and I think that everyone who is a writer should use it as often as possible.

Speaking of online resources for education…

YouTube

YouTube has subjects for everything, including writing. YouTube can help you to develop your writing skills by making your writing style more fluid or more concise.

YouTube can also develop your blog writing techniques more so that your blog posts can become excellent blog posts.

Those were the main resources that I could think of

Those are actually the main resources that I can think of. I know that I might be missing a few pieces out there. Keep in mind, this wasn’t meant to be an exhaustive list of all the things that there are out there that you can use in order to build your blog.

If you have more resources that can be helpful, please feel free to leave them in the comments section below.

I sure hope that I have inspired some people to go out there and start their own blog. Don’t let anything stop you from achieving your dreams. Remember to always pray to God to help you to achieve your dreams and he will help you.

If you want to go to heaven, then believe in Jesus and Jesus will get you into heaven.

Thank you all for listening in on this blog post. I hope that I have been an inspiration and a hope to you all. Please pray, read your bible, go to church, and love God above all else. Like, comment, share, subscribe, and I will see you all next time. German Gonzalez, signing out!
