I feel like sometimes we’re a little too harsh on our own selves. I feel like no matter where you are in life, you are never unqualified to talk about God or Jesus. That’s my personal opinion. However, I also think that you should know what you’re doing. The reason why I say that is because, you wouldn’t like a preacher who gets drunk every Friday night, would you? You would like a preacher who prays consistently wouldn’t you? You would like a preacher who practices what he preaches wouldn’t you?
So, you can always talk about God, but let’s talk about this in detail shall we?
Examine yourself
Be honest with yourself and ask yourself this question, “Do I have God with me?” if the answer isn’t a complete yes, then I think that you should look to mature more with God before you start to talk about God.
HOWEVER, If your heart burns with telling people to talk about God on the internet, if you have a sole desire to serve God, if you want to start talking about God and now, DO NOT LET ME STOP YOU.
I never want to discourage anyone who wants to serve God. The reason why I say look to prepare yourself, is because people are going to question your faith.
Critics and atheists are going to question your faith. And you know what, they are going to bring up valid points.
However, God has an answer to all of those valid points and you should know them, at least the basics.
Questions like, Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people? Or how about, Why is there evil in the world? Or maybe if God made everything perfect, why didn’t he make us perfect?” Those questions are going to pop up and you should be able to answer them with conviction.
In case you’re wondering, all of those answers are found in the bible. God answers Why does bad things happen to good people in Job. He answers why he made things the way they are in Revelation, and that verse that is found in revelation answers both why didn’t he make us perfect and also why is there evil in the world.
So, you have to be well versed in the bible and church and prayer or at least know the basics of your faith before you go and talk about it.
I say this again, If you have a burning desire to serve the Lord, start immediately. Don’t let me stop you.
Anyone can talk about God with the experience that they have.
Having said all that, no one person is ever really completely ready to “defend God.” No one on earth has the complete understanding of the Lord. Therefore, talk about God with the knowledge that you have, all I’m saying is be prepared.
If you ever come across a critic or an unbeliever and they are heavily questioning your faith, remember most of the world would reject the word. Therefore, it really is pointless to keep arguing.
Actually those unbelievers probably already know and are SURE that God is real and that Jesus is the right way. Honestly, they probably already know it.

DO NOT get discouraged by this blog post. DO NOT set yourself boundaries when it comes to talking about God. If you’re talking about God for a paycheck, then I suggest you go somewhere else because even though God does provide to his people, he’s not a bank only. He is God and as God, we should worship and praise and give to him as if though he is the one and true only GOD!
If you want to go to heaven, then believe in Jesus and Jesus will get you into heaven.
