How long will it take for my Christian blog to succeed?

Success comes in all shapes and sizes. To me, a successful blog would have to be a blog that gets around 100,000 page views a month.

            But that’s just me.

            For some blogging niches, it’s a huge success to get around 50,000 page views a month.

            I will say that I believe it’s possible for any niche to be really successful, the only thing that you would need to do is work at it.

            Anyways, let’s talk about how long it would take for a Christian blog to be successful.

It depends

            Now I know that it’s kind of an inadequate answer, but you have to listen to me.

            How long does it take for a person to learn how to do math at a college level? Can you answer? Well it depends! On several factors too! How well they learn, how much work they put into math, if their parents were good at math, if they’re responsible with their homework.

            All of these factors relate to how good a person will learn math at a college level.

            Now let’s talk about blogs.

            How well can you learn how to blog? How often can you write? What niche will you talk about? Do you have a team of people to write in your blog or is it just you? Can you dedicate some serious time and effort into your blog?

            All of these factors will come into play when talking about how long will it take for your Christian blog to even start to succeed.

Ultimately

            Ultimately it boils down to this, How many blog posts a week can you put up? How many blog posts a month can you put up?

            Because the more blog posts you put up, the higher the chance is for you to succeed at your blog.

            Income school often times said, The more content you put up, the more traffic. I like that quote and I think that it’s a great quote to learn. Why? Because for me, it has been true.

            I can count with you the amount of times that I’ve tried to promote my blog on social media, with one hand.

            I literally have not promoted my blog on social media. The only thing that I’ve done is put up a whole bunch of blog posts!

            And now, I am getting more than 100 page views a month.

            And if you knew what I knew, you would be so excited for me as well.

            I know that 100 page views a month is not a lot, but the thing is that you don’t know what I know about blogs.

            The thing is that once you start to get 100 page views consistently, it’s only going to steadily increase from there. I am now getting the traffic that the search engines are going to give me.

            So right now, I’m giving it all I got for this blog because I am that much closer for the blog to being very successful.

            The size of the blog post doesn’t matter TO A DEGREE! I would still recommend around 400 words minimum in order for your SEO to take full effect.

            Some people recommend 1000 word blog posts.

            I am now writing around 1000 words because I think that it’s a better way of engaging the audience. I was perfectly fine getting traffic with 400 words, but I want more traffic and I want a more engaged audience.

            I still write sometimes lower word count blog posts, but I’m trying to eliminate that altogether.

            I sure hope that I have inspired some people to start writing in their blogs. It truly is a great thing to see when you start something from the ground up and eventually make something that is so amazing that it just gets people just as excited as you are.
