When you’re new to the faith, it takes a little bit of time before you can understand fully all of the concepts that are in the bible.

I personally don’t expect you to know all of them within your first year of being a Christian, unless of course you were really diesel in learning the bible because you had a strong connection between God and you.

But anyways, I’m going to go over some important bible concepts that every Christian should understand.

            Let’s talk about this.

Salvation

The first and foremost thing that we should learn as new Christians is salvation.

Being saved means a lot more than just going to church. It doesn’t mean that you had a big experience in your life. But rather, it means that you have accepted Jesus into your life.

How do you get saved? You get saved when you start to believe in Jesus. At that point in time Jesus takes care of all of the things that are going to happen to you in life.

John 3:16 is the basis of our salvation. In John 3:16, it states, “For God so loved the world that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” That’s the bible, not me.

I love to say this part because I know for sure that this is what the bible means.

This literally means that anyone can go to heaven. It means that the whole world can go to heaven. It doesn’t say that the whole world except a killer, a thief, a drunk, a homosexual, no it states, “For God so loved the world that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”

I know that there are some people out there that are probably like, “But German I know of bible verses that specifically state that those people will not go to heaven. What do you say about that?”

Well I know those bible verses and I’ve read them carefully, and here is what they say…

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 “Be not deceived neither fornicators, nor idolators, nor adulterers, nor effeminate… shall enter into the kingdom of God, AND SUCH WERE SOME OF YOU, but now ye are WASHED, ye are cleansed, ye are sanctified by the blood of our Lord and the Spirit of our God.”

That literally means that everyone can go to heaven. No matter who you are.

I know that there are a lot of bible verses that condemn different actions, however, you have to read carefully those bible verses because in the end, love does win, it’s just in a different manner that love wins.

God is a God that wants everyone in their kingdom. God is not a loser. I know for a fact that God wants you, that’s right you in his kingdom. God wants everyone in the world to go to heaven. I just don’t see why that’s so offensive.

Why were we made?

You know there are a lot of theologians that say different things about this question, however, I have read the bible and I have read this.

In Revelation when it was describing what was happening to John, it say that he saw a vision of four beasts that were great in their own nature. And elders who were worshipping him. And he says that the elders casted their crowns in front of God and said, “All hail the lamb of God, for everything was created for his pleasure.”

Now, I think that I’m paraphrasing that too and I can’t remember for sure if it was the elders or the beasts that said that, but the beasts rest not worshipping the Lord crying “Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord God almighty, for he was and is and is yet to come.”

With that being said, we have to understand the gravity of the Lord. Like, how powerful is that? There are beasts who are holy in nature and grand as well and they rest not crying Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God almighty.

So, I know for sure that we were all made for God’s pleasure. I know that, that is a little humbling for us, but it’s true. We have to accept that as our livelihood.

Broadcast

I’m going to go over some more bible concepts today, but I just felt as if though these bible concepts were really important to go over as of right now. Don’t worry, I know that there are other important bible concepts I need to go over, but I’ll explain it later today.

If you want to go to heaven, then believe in Jesus and Jesus will get you into heaven.

Thank you all for listening in on this blog post. I hope that I have been an inspiration and a hope to you all. Please pray, read your bible, go to church, and love God above all else. Like, comment, share, subscribe, and I will see you all next time. German Gonzalez, signing out!
