Things that I’ve learned as a Christian musician

I’ve actually learned quite a few things being a Christian musician. The Lord has actually blessed me with wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to being a mature adult. The things that I’m about to mention are things that every single adult should learn and be aware of.

            These things are Christian things too so I know that they are correct.

Anyways, here are some valuable things that I’ve learned as a Christian musician.

Persistence is key

            I know that it’s easy to give up on the cool things in life, however, that’s the easy way. The great way would be to actually work hard at whatever it is that you need to work at.

            I know that it’s difficult to persist throughout all of your hard times, but you must try. Why? Because persisting is going to get you through the things that you need to get through in life.

            But it’s not just that, your whole life needs to push through. Everything that you do is going need persistence.

            Whether that’s playing the guitar, reading books for school, working in construction, etc. etc. All of the things that you do in life are going to require you to work hard by persisting.

            Muscling your way through things is going to prove to be beneficial in the long term.

Everything takes time

            Going along the same lines as persisting, everything is going to take time to complete it. I remember back when I was a kid, I was actually playing the guitar and my dad told me that it’s going to take time to learn how to play the guitar.

            So, I said to myself, “You know what? I’m going to take time to learn how to actually learn how to play the guitar. I’m also not going to pick up the guitar and leave it just like anything else.

            I took the advice that my dad said when he said that everything takes time to perfect, and I took my time to perfect my guitar skills and sure enough, I became a good guitarist.

            So likewise with a whole bunch of other things in life. I have heard from people who are much wiser, smarter, stronger, and faster than me that everything takes time to do. No matter what you do in life, it’s going to take a whole bunch of time to make money, to be successful, to do anything.

Failure is not an option, it’s a requirement

            I have learned that failure is a part of life. It has to be present in our lives because through failure, we learn.

            I remember once when I was with my friend, I was actually working out with him. And he said that I had to do the reps until failure. And he said that doing the reps until failure will make you really strong and cut. And I honestly couldn’t believe what I was hearing.

            All this time I thought that actually completing the workout was going to get me stronger. However, according to him, failure is absolutely necessary.

            That’s the kind of mentality that we should have. Do the work until failure. And when we do failure, we need to do it again.

            I sure hope that I have inspired some people to go out there and start their journey for whatever it is that they need to do. Remember, that all good things take time and effort to do. So, be patient and always strive to work hard for all of the things that you need

            If you want to go to heaven, then believe in Jesus and you will go to heaven.
