Christian music has played an integral part in my upbringing, obviously. I always love to listen to new Christian music because it’s just refreshing to hear that people still want to sing and praise the Lord through song.

This blog post isn’t just about albums that are coming up, but also, albums that have just recently been released and that I’m going to listen to.

With that being said, Here are the list of Christian albums that are coming up and that I’m most definitely excited to hear.

Philips, Craig, and Dean – 30th Anniversary Collection

I have been a big fan of Philips, Craig, and Dean ever since I heard their songs on a compilation album called Open the Eyes of my heart. The album, Open the Eyes of my heart, had a few of their songs, the first album had My redeemer lives by Philips, Craig, and Dean.

I absolutely fell in love with their songs ever since then .

And now, it’s time for their 30th Anniversary album?!?!?

I feel like they already released a greatest hits album, though I’m not sure. However, I sure do hope that their 30th Anniversary special is more than just a greatest hits album.

I can hear the chorus of My Redeemer Lives. “My Redeemer Lives, My Redeemer Lives, My Redeemer Lives, My Redeemer Lives.”

            It’s such a fun song.

I can’t wait to hear Philips, Craig, and Dean’s new album.

Tauren Wells – Joy in the morning

I actually became a Tauren Wells fan a few years ago. I heard the song “Known”. I liked it though I wasn’t the biggest fan of the song because I felt as if though it had no emotional connection to me.

I liked the song though because it had some biblical principles that are key to the Christian world.

I also like the fact that it’s nearly just the guitar and his voice. Like how many people are just doing guitar and voice and making it work? Not too many.

Future albums that I want to hear

I actually want to hear a few albums from other Christian artists. I want to hear things from Britt Nicole and Lincoln Brewster.

The reason why I want to hear from those artists is because I grew up with them.

Britt Nicole had that one song that goes “All this time from the first tear cried to today’s sunrise and every single moment between, you were there for me, always there for me, it was you and I, you’ve been walking with me all this time.” How powerful is that message?

I also love her voice it sounds so great.

That song All this time is currently on the playlist that I listen to on a day to day basis.

I will never forget Lincoln Brewster.

The first song that I heard by him was a remake of the song Lord I lift your name on high.

I love the distorted guitars mixed with the modern day sounds, it just sounds so amazing!

The song that I’m listening to right now is the one song called Everlasting God. “Our God, you reign forever… our hope, our strong deliverer. You are the everlasting God, the Everlasting God, you do not feint you won’t grow weary! You’re the defender of the weak, you comfort those in need, you lift us up on wings like eagles!”
