Diary Entry: Something cool

Hey guys, so right now something cool is going on in my life. First, I’m going to try and implement something new to this blog, it’s called the moment of silence. At this moment of silence, we will all take a moment to pray for some of the things that are on our mind. Every time that we get into this blog, we will all pray for a few things. I might add what are some things that we need to pray for regarding the world and ourselves. Keep in mind that usually the prayers that i will say have nothing to do with you personally, but rather, they are just a reflection of myself. 

Today, I would like for everyone to take a moment of prayer for a few things in the world that I am thinking. The first thing is that everyone in the world may get to know God. IF everyone prays for such a powerful prayer, you know that God will respond. I don’t know how God will respond, but we as Christians must believe that God wants everyone in heaven, therefore, we should pray that everyone, including our enemies, go to heaven.

Let us pray that everyone in the world may go to heaven. 

The next thing that I would like to pray for is this blog. I would like each of you to pray for this blog because if you like it, if you like all of the things that i say in this blog, then we need God to keep helping us grow this blog. You guys are like a family to me and I couldn’t be more grateful for my family. 

Therefore, we need God in order to strengthen our relationship with him and ourselves. 

Next on the agenda is that we must pray for the people in our lives, specifically, to get to know God. 

The reason why i say this is because When we pray specifically for people, It’s a little more intimate than just saying, “oh God please pray for the world.”

I know that our lives are challenging, however, a praying man is a strong man. Always keep that in mind. 

The next thing is that if you guys could pray for me. I am still not praying in the amount that I want to pray. I get these spells of prayer and i just start praying. However, it’s not consistent. I need to be praying on a daily basis. 

I need to be going to church on a weekly basis. I also need to read the bible on a daily basis. And sadly I’m not doing those things. 

I have prayed for these things in the past, so don’t think that I’m not trying these things, but if you guys could just pray for me, I could greatly appreciate the power of more prayer. The more prayer the better right? 

Lastly, pray for yourselves. I know that there are challenging things in your life right now. I know that there are some tests and trials that you need to pass. I want you to know, that God can help all of it. 

Are you going to court? God will be there. Do you literally need to pass a school exam? God will be there. Are you going through a time where your spouse is unfaithful? God is there! I am telling you that God will always be there no matter what happens. 

Therefore, pray for yourselves. If you can’t muster up the courage to close your eyes and pray for yourself, then do it in your head. Pray for yourself in your head. Believe that God can do the things that you need him to do, and he will do it. 

Now for the moment of silence. Take as much time as your need in order to complete your prayer and then refer back to this blog post.

I have prayed and God has answered

You know God always answers prayers. I don’t care who you are or what you’ve done, but God always answers prayers. 

Like this prayer. I used to have a hard time controlling my anger. However, i recently learned how to control it. 

And I prayed to God to teach me how to control it. 

It’s strange how I controlled my anger. Because it was actually a combination of prayer, bible, and sunday school that helped me to control my anger. 

The first thing is this, i had to slay my sins. In bible school one of these day, the pastor said that we are supposed to slay our sins on a daily basis in order to be more Godlike. 

Just today, my sister got me very mad. I mean very mad. However, i remember this teaching and i said to myself, just slay your sins. And I just quit acting mad. It became a choice for me. Being mad is now a choice for me. 

I know that there will be days where my anger might get the better of me. However, i have learned how to control a big side of my anger and I thank God for it. 

I have to thank God for controlling my anger. I was actually praying for God to help me control my anger and sure enough, he helped me. I am slowly learning how to do certain things. 

Another thing that I asked God for is to make me a hard working man. 

God has always blessed me with work and i can honestly say that I have turned into a hardworking man. I still have my kinks that I have to fix, but God will be the one to fix them for me. 

I remember I started praying for God to make me a hardworking man when i was working as security. I kept messing up the paperwork that I had to do for incident reports, so i started to pray. Years later, God made me a hard working guy. 

My future prayers, I still have a few prayers that I want to get squared away. The first is that I wish that I could wake up early to work out, i really believe that getting strong is good, but I want to get up early in the day to work out. 

I still struggle to get up, but I know that with more prayer, God will help me to get up on time. 

Another thing that I’m praying for is my degrees. My parents would be so proud of me if I got my degrees. I am not going to let anything stop me from getting my degrees, I just wish that I had them by now. 

I know that if I keep praying, then God will help me to get my degrees. 

The last thing that I’m praying for is my music. I want to serve God with music, but it’s just so challenging to be a musician. There are so many obstacles that you have to jump over in order to do anything with music. 

I’m not giving up though, and i know that this blog will help me to get there.

I sure hope that i have inspired some people to go out there and start praying. The reason why I started this moment of silence is because everyone needs to be praying more. Therefore, adding a specific prayer time to your day will do wonders if you just start. I added the moment also to start building the habit with people to pray. It is a habit to pray, therefore, start making the habit. 

If you want to go to heaven, then believe in Jesus and you will go to heaven.
