Hey guys, today I will be discussing what are some references that you can use when you are doing bible study. I know that the bible is the ultimate reference to any bible study. However, we should be aware of any other sort of clarifying concepts that we can use in order to better understand God and the bible.
But first it’s time for a moment of silence.
If you’re new to this moment of silence, this is a time when you can pray for anything and everything that there is in your life. I might add a few things that you need to pray for as well. I might add a bible verse that supports what I think, but yeah. Take a moment and just pray for anything in your life.
Now for the moment of prayer. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for everything and anything in your life
Now back to the show
The bible
No reference to God would be complete if it wasn’t for the bible.
I cannot say you can refer to other sources without mentioning the bible first. The bible is a clear path towards understanding more of God.
I know that some of you are probably saying to yourselves, “But German, the language in the bible is so difficult to understand. Also, it’s too deep to understand from a mere humans mind. How can we understand the bible?”
Well God designed the bible so that even the simplest of man can understand it. God knew exactly who was going to come out of this world and he wanted absolutely everyone in the kingdom of God.
You might say to yourself, “But German there are some pretty dark things that happen in the bible, why should I trust it?”
There are dark things that happen in this world, am I right?
Yes there are!
And you know what, the bible addresses how to handle even the most difficult situations.
I know that the bible mentions horrible things, but it’s necessary to understand what are the consequences. It’s necessary to hear them. I know that it sounds bad, but you have to trust in God that it is the right way.

I know for a fact that I say a whole bunch of theological topics in this blog. I know this is a Christian music blog, but my main purpose is to spread the word of God to the world.
I will always be happy to address the situation that you are going through as long as it is in my means to address it.
I get all of my answers from the bible and my 26 years of living experience.
I also get all of my wisdom from God. I trust God with all of my heart and I don’t doubt him.
I mean sometimes I do doubt him, but that doesn’t mean that I’m letting go of him.
You might say to yourself, “But German, how do I know for sure that you’re telling me the truth?”
At this moment in time, I would like to point back to the bible. I would like to tell everyone that you can fact check me for everything that I say by referring back to the bible.
I know for a fact that this world is a lost and crazy world. However, we must refer to the bible whenever we’re confused.
It is after all our lifeblood.
Their preacher
A preacher is a great resource for a lot of the difficult questions in life. There are a lot of questions that aren’t specifically mentioned in the bible.
Like the bible states that we are to listen to our parents at all times.
Well what happens when that parent does something against God’s will? What if our parents want us to do evil?
That answer I know for sure and that is that you would not listen to them. However, it takes a great amount of wisdom from a kid to being able to differentiate when it’s a good time to listen to them and when it is not.
I mean it’s not a great deal, but what happens is that if I were to say this to a kid, then he would think that everything that his parents are telling him to do are against God’s will.
You have to be honest with yourself and with your parents because you have to listen to your parents when it’s in God’s will.
Anyways, Preachers would know the answer to that question. Preachers know the answer to questions much more complex than that. Therefore, we need to be in constant contact with our preachers.
E-Sword
This is actually a really good reference that a lot of preachers use to create sermons.
It’s actually one that my pastor recommended that I use for any bible study.
And so far, it is a really good reference that Christians can use.
The app itself is expensive, but I would say that if you’re serious about God, then a proper investment wouldn’t be bad. After all you would spend more on coffee in a week than what you would spend on E-Sword.
Any reference that you check
So what happens is that I one time was trying to read the whole bible all the way through.
And I found a really great resource on the internet in the form of YouTube videos.
And what happened is that in it, it actually had the book of Job and they explained in detail what was going on in the book of Job.
And so I was actually pretty satisfied with what they explained. But I actually went in the book of Job and read it myself to see what it was all about.
And I read that most of the things that they said were true.
However, I checked the facts myself to make sure that the facts were good and that’s what makes it a good reference.

I sure hope that I have inspired some people to go out there and become the better Christain that they want to be.
If you want to go to heaven, then believe in Jesus as your personal Lord and savior and you will go to heaven.
