Are Superpowers real?

I know this seems a little bit out there, but here me out. Are superpowers real? I know what some of you are saying when you ask this question. “German, Jesus specifically said that if we abide in him and he abides in us, then we shall ask what we will and it will be given unto us.” “The bible also states that when Jesus cursed the fig tree he said that we shall be able to do miracles like that and more if we believe that it’s true!” 

Hold your horses there young Christian, because even though the bible does say these things are true. Let’s look at this for a second. 

First let’s talk about our moment of silence. At this moment, we should all pray for this topic. Even today, there are Christains who debate about what these bible verses mean because there have been instances in modern times where seriously, I will say it like this, insane things have happened and it could only be because God let it be. 

First let’s pray for everything and anything that there is in our lives and also at the same time, we will pray for this topic. 

Now time for the moment of silence, take a minimum of 5 minutes to pray for everything and anything in your life and also the things that I mentioned above.

Are superpowers real?

The answer is Yes and No. Obviously in the bible there were instances of miracles that happened that were from divine causes. Fire rain downed from the sky 3 times I believe. 1 time for Sodom and Gomohrrah, 1 time when Moses was crossing the red sea, and 1 time when Elijah was trying to prove God’s power. 

People were raised from the dead once with Elijah too, Samson had his super human strength, Jesus healed the sick and lame and casted out Demons, etc. etc. 

There were obviously things going on that were of superhuman capacity going on. Obviously no man can do any of these things unless they had God with him. 

Therefore, we don’t technically call them super powers, but rather, miracles. 

Therefore, we can’t say that “Superpowers” are not real because God has enabled them to be real. However, if you’re looking to fly, or pick up cars, or have super intelligence, I think you have it the wrong way. 

You see, This requires wisdom. God is not sinful, God is not evil. And if we were to have those kind of powers with us, we would absolutely abuse that power, don’t you think? Yes we would and God knows it too. 

And it’s not just that. But God has his reasons for not allowing mankind to do miraculous things at any given time. Ask God for his reasons and he will give it to you. 

Just trust in God that God is absolutely in control and that his reasons are valid and you’ll be fine. 

Now let’s talk about modern day miracles

I have heard from a vast amount of people about times when God was there. God had to have been there or else these things couldn’t have happened. 

Here are a few of the things that happened. I’m not going to site the sources because these things people don’t talk because no one would believe them. But I’m going to talk about it because they have happened and if you want to believe these things, then believe and if you don’t, I’m not going to argue with you because they are pretty unbelievable. 

Giants

One time, there were two girls who were coming home from church at night. These girls had to walk home and sure enough there came two guys who pointed guns at them and said to them, follow us. 

So these girls followed them. But God was there. 

And so, when the girls faced the men, the men dropped their guns and started running away. 

The girls didn’t know what was going on. But when they turned around, they saw 2 giants standing there. 

After they saw the giants, the giants just walked away and disappeared.

Then the girls just walked home and they thanked the Lord. 

Mom’s strength

One time, there was a kid who was trapped underneath a car. He started to say, mom i can’t breath because the tire was directly on his chest. 

So, four strong guys went and tried to lift up the car and they couldn’t.

Then the mom, by herself, went and picked up the car without any help. She picked up the car and told her son to get out. Then she dropped it. 

They said that she was a super strong woman. But when they asked her to pick it up, she couldn’t do it again. 

What happened to me

I was in jail. I was sentenced to jail and I kept saying to myself, “It’s not the Lord’s fault, it’s my own.” Then I started to pray to God and I said, “Lord, can you get me out of here? I’m sorry for what I’ve done.” I prayed so long and so hard that night, and sure enough, that day, someone random comes into the jail and puts bail for me. 

And this person claimed he was my father. 

When I asked the guard if he could describe my father for me, he said he was “Light skinned.” 

Then I said to him, “It’s impossible. My father doesn’t know that I’m in jail, my father is 700 miles away, and my father is dark skinned.”

Here are some facts. I was in a city where NO ONE KNEW ME. YET SOMEONE KNEW ME BY NAME. 

It had to have been God.

I sure hope that I have inspired some people to seek God for all that he is. Remember, that miracles can happen, but it has to be God who is behind it all in order to happen. By ourselves, we cannot do miracles. But with God, anything is possible. Remember to think soberly and humble yourself. 

If you want to go to heaven, then believe in Jesus and you will go to heaven.
