The story of the bible

***So, I made this blog post in my computer files first. However, I changed my mind as to what I want to do with it. Instead I will be sharing the story of the bible in it’s entirety. If you want to learn everything about the bible. (Well at least a big summary of it) then join me in the next maybe month or two as we will be going over all of the main story points of the bible.

I think I’ve said this once, so I’ll say it again. How important is Jesus to us? How important was Jesus’ death to us? Why was it so important? I don’t think that the last time that I went over this, I fully explained everything. I think I highlighted the most important parts, However, I am going to go more in depth as to the reason why Jesus is so important to us. 

First, Let’s have a moment of silence

At this time we will do our moment of silence. We will pray for all of the things in our lives. I would like you guys to pray for this topic as well. Pray for God to reveal to you the mysteries behind Jesus. 

Take a minimum of 5 minutes to pray. 

Now back to the show

Let’s start from the beginning 

The legacy of Jesus actually starts from Genesis. We all know who Adam and Eve are. They were the first human beings to ever be created. They were created by God himself.

Now God allowed humans to rule over the entire world. However, God had one rule. 

God’s rule was to not touch the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. 

The reason why God said not to do that was because on that day, they would surely die. 

Therefore, Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of eden, which was their home, and they lived peaceably.

One day, the serpent lied to Eve and said that it’s okay to eat the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. So she did eat and she gave the fruit to her husband and he did eat. And immediately their eyes were opened and they saw that they were naked and hid themselves from God. 

When God went out into the garden, both Adam and Eve heard him walking so they hid themselves. God called out and said, “Why are you hiding? Did you eat the fruit of the tree which I told you not to eat?” “Adam said, It was the woman, she gave me the fruit to eat.” “Eve replied, the serpent tricked me into eating the fruit.”

Then God said, “What have you done? From now on the ground is cursed from which you came. From dust you came from and to dust you will return. And in all of your days, you will work for your food. And to the woman, I will greatly multiply your pain at childbirth.” “ and to the serpent, From now on, you will crawl on your stomach and you will hit your head against rocks.

So, the Lord made aprons for Adam and Eve and he sent them from the garden. 

However, he made a promise to mankind and the promise was that he was going to save mankind from the fate that they have just committed. 

He said that there would be a man who would defeat the serpent but the serpent would cause great injuries to the man.

And so it was so. 

Adam lived nearly 1000 years along with Eve. 

They had sons and they had sons. And so, it went on. 

Now the world was full of corruption and violence and so God said, “Mankind’s thoughts are evil from birth. I shall wipe out the face of the earth from everything.” However, Noah received favor in the sight of the Lord. And so God wanted to keep Noah. So God said to Noah, “Noah, make an ark of gopher wood and it will house all of the animals in the world. Mankind is violent and evil in nature, I will wipe out the earth and start with you again.” at this time, no problems for birth had arisen from family members children. Along with that, God hadn’t introduced the law that it’s evil to do that. So it was okay. 

So, Noah went and did exactly that. And sure enough when the ark was finished, a multitude of animals went to Noah and entered into the ark. And they did not harm themselves. 

Now at this time, no rain had ever fallen into the world. The world would be bathed in water through a mist that would occur at night and that’s how they received water. However, before this day, no rain had ever fallen.

Now, the moment that all of the animals and all of Noahs family went inside the ark. That exact moment when everyone was inside, The door SHUT on it’s own. And they waited. And sure enough, the springs of the ocean multiplied their flow of water and the seas began to rise. And the flood had occurred. 

Now, keep in mind, that Noah had already told everyone in the world to repent of their sins or else they would face the demise. God had instructed Noah to do so. Therefore, everyone who had perished in the flood, deserved their fate. 

And I will leave the next part of the story to next time. If you want to keep along, we’re still in the book of Genesis. In one of the earliest chapters too.
