A new Era to my new Era

Hey everyone! So, I have some exciting news to tell everyone. 

First, let’s have our moment of silence

At this time, I would like all of us to go into a moment of silence. Please pray for all of the things in our lives. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for all of the things that are going on in our lives.

My music career

I currently am making steady progress towards my music career. I just put up a video of me playing the guitar and singing one of my originals and it got 110 views so far. 

I am super excited to see that my work is gaining progress. However, I know that, that’s not that end all be all in my music career. I need to get better at writing lyrics and melodies. And eventually, I will reach a point to where I’ll be writing professional songs without missing a beat. 

I currently have around 6 songs that I’m working on. It’s so cool seeing my progress going from beginner to advanced from years and years ago. 

You can do anything with God’s help, remember that. 

Pool ball

I know that I’m getting better at pool because of a few reasons. 

For one, I used to have two friends who played really good pool. Just recently, I’ve played pool against them and I won. 

The first friend I played Pool for an entire day. Literally we played 36 games of pool ball! That’s a lot of pool ball! It took us 6 hours to finish our games. 

Also, there are some things that I used to not be able to do and now I can do it fairly easy. I mean I still miss from time to time, but it’s becoming rarer that I miss it. 

And last but not least, I ran-out today in 8 ball! 

Haha! I was saving the best for last. Yeah, today, I ran-out in 8 ball. That’s the first time where I actually won the entire rack without letting my opponent get a chance to play. 

Okay, I would be lying if I told you that, that’s the first time that I’ve ever run-out. But it is the first time where I did everything sort of on purpose. But when are you ever going to do everything on purpose in pool ball right? Haha! That’s a joke, you can do everything on purpose but you have to be really really good to do so. I’m still beginning to do good in pool ball. But it’s the first time where I was spinning the cue ball the way that I wanted to and putting all sorts of spin on it in order to run the rack. And I made it. Haha!, yeah it was tough, but I made it. 

And just today, after I ran that rack, I was about to run-out again, This time, I had two balls besides the 8 ball left on the table. 

Even my opponent, who is a friend of mine, saw that when I was about to run-out, he said, “Take your time, you’ve got this.” HE WANTED TO SEE ME RUN-OUT TOO! Haha! 

I think I’ve made excellent progress towards my pool goals. 

My biggest problem right now with pool ball is that It’s difficult for me to see all of the different types of speeds and spins that I’m supposed to put with each hit. Today, I got lucky and Ran-out. But it was because the shots that I made, I already knew how to make them. Well, I guess that’s the name of the game right? Practice, practice, practice until you can’t get it wrong right? Haha! That was my modo for practicing the guitar. 

I just hope that I can stay determined with pool ball long enough so that I can actually do something with it.
