Spitting some truths

Hey guys, so today, I want to share with you all some truths about life. I want to share with you all some things that I know as a Christian. 

I’m not trying to call myself wise or put myself in a position of authority when i say these things, however, I am Christian, and I do fear God in the right way and I have learned these things being a 26 year old person. 

Some older people out there might benefit from listening to these things, so read around and see what I have to say. I know for a fact that younger generations will definitely benefit from listening to what I have to say. 

Anyways let’s have our moment of silence before we do anything

At this time, I would like all of us to go into a moment of silence. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for all of the things in your lives. Pray to God to help you to become the person that you were destined to become and pray to God to help you out throughout all of your lives.

Truths for Men

Now I speak of men right now because it’s just on my mind. However I will speak to women in a moment.

But to men, there are so many insecurities about guys that we guys carry. I speak it because I too have felt insecure about some aspects of my life. 

Why? Because I hear all of this garbage that is being said on the internet about guys coming from other guys or girls or whatever. And it annoys me.

Like, it’s under the impression that a man isn’t a man unless he’s rich, get’s lots of women to sleep with him, is big, smokes cigars, drinks beer or champagne, and has all of his stuff together. 

Like how realistic is that? 

I mean I know that there has to be that one guy that probably has it all. But how seriously can we take that seriously? 

We have this big misunderstanding that a guy has to be every girls fantasy in order to be a man and if he’s not, then he’s just a chump.

Well let me tell you something.

I am tall, dark, and a lot of girls call me handsome, I play guitar, I can get money if I want, I call myself smart, and I call myself wise. First off I thank God for all of those things. And the second thing is that even I have my own insecurities. 

And I know the insecurities that guys face when it comes to relationships, work, living, lifestyle, etc. etc. 

I’ll be honest with you, being the person that I am, I have had lots of thoughts thinking to myself, “Do I even deserve a wife?” Being the guy that I am, I have thought, “Is my body deserving of a wife?” Why? Because we hear all of these foolish thoughts coming from foolish people and think that, that’s the right way. 

And then I think to myself, “Oh I’m too poor to get a wife, no girl will want me if I’m that poor.” Why? Because we’re under the impression that a girl will not want you unless you’re rich, which is far from the truth! 

And then I think to myself, “Oh it’s because I’m Christian that I’ll never get a girl because all of the girls out there don’t want to know about Jesus and don’t want to be near a guy who is obsessed over him.” 

Why? Because we see all of this stuff on the internet about drugs, alcohol, smoking, parties, clubs, strippers, etc. etc. and we think that, that’s the correct way. 

And then I think to myself I’ll never become a doctor, which means I’ll never have a wife, which means that I can’t be happy, and I’m not handsome, and I’m not talented because there are people out there far more talented than me, and I’ll never be able to compete with anyone because there’s always someone out there better than me, and I’m not strong because strong means I have big muscles and I don’t have that, and I’m just no good.

Well guys,  I have some news for you.

You’re wrong!

You are absolutely wrong. All of those things on the internet about guys, most of that stuff is false. 

You don’t need to be rich to find love, you don’t need to be big to find a girl, you don’t need to play guitar, or sing, or be tall, dark, and handsome to be the ideal man. 

You don’t need to be a doctor to provide adequately for your family.

You don’t need to be the smartest, hottest, most talented, most classy dude in order to be a good man.

What you need in order to be a good man, is to have God. If you have God in your life, you can have anything. 

Take this from a dude who has had a lot in his life. I’m telling you it doesn’t make you more of a man to be big, strong, handsome, play guitar, or sing. 

It doesn’t make you more of a man. What makes men, is God. 

So, you guys who supposedly, “Have it all”. Go ahead and make fun of us smaller dudes, go ahead and make fun of us poorer dudes, go ahead and see exactly how strong our God is. I have a God who’s bigger. 

Truths for the women.

Ladies it’s your turn now. 

I personally don’t care what your body looks like, just as long as it’s not “Too much.”

Like, yes I do want a pretty girl in my life. I’m  not going to lie.

But like every girl is pretty if she’s just healthy. 

In this case I’m not saying healthy as in like fat, but I’m saying healthy as in actually healthy. 

But like, it’s not just that, I’ve said no to girls who were extremely hot because they weren’t Christian. True story. 

I’m not going to lie, there was a little romance in between being with those girls, but it never got too far. 

Like personally in my head, I know that if a girl is strong with God, then I want her. However, my body wants something that I do not need. 

So, I do want a pretty girl in my life, but let that girl love God more than she loves me. I want a girl who puts God in the front of our lives. I want a girl who treats God the way that I treat him. I want a girl who will love me all the way until I die. I want a girl who will love my children until we die. I want a hard working girl, smart, and if she has a sense of humor that’d be a plus. 

That’s me personally.

Now I know you women have your own insecurities too, maybe some of which have similarities with guys. 

Maybe you’re insecure about your bodies, your smarts, your jobs, your health, etc. etc. 

You might be thinking that no guy will ever want me if I’m not “that hot.” 

Or you might be thinking, no guy will ever want me unless I, “provide for them.”

You young girls might be thinking shouldn’t it be the other way around, oh trust me girls there are some guys out there who want the girl to provide for them. 

Or you might be thinking no guy will want me because I’m too white, black, brown, short, tall, dumb, etc. etc. 

Well I’m here to tell you that you’re wrong. 

There are guys out there, WHO YOU WOULD LOVE, and they honestly don’t care about how big your breasts are, or how big your butt is, or what kind of job you have, etc. etc. 

And guess what? 

That guy would absolutely love you.

That guy will not cheat on you, that guy will not choose his friends over you, that guy will not leave you. He will be a model citizen, strong, and everything that you need. 

Now keep in mind that God knows what we like and what we don’t like, so, if you ladies want a bigger guy, God will provide. If you don’t mind a smaller guy and would prefer him, God will provide, you have to have faith in God about these things. 

Now ladies, a man will not solve all of your problems. 

What solves our problems is God. 

Ladies, we have to understand that God can provide anything that we want including a good husband, but we have to have God in order to get the things that we want. 

Do you not think that God knows that you want a good guy in your life who is handsome? Do you not think that God doesn’t know that you want a guy who actually has a job, maybe has a degree, loves you with all his heart, and will not leave you?

God knows that, and he will provide.

We just need God in our lives.

The moral of the story

In order to have the good things in our lives, we need God. Why? Because God provides the good things in our lives. 

I know what some of you young people around my age are probably thinking, Clubs, drinking, smoking, and sex is all I need.

Just remember God when all of that is over.
