My music keeps on getting better and better!

Hey guys! So today, is a music day. I have been writing a few songs and they sound so absolutely phenomenal. I am going to put up a music Video about one of my songs and I hope you all like it. 

Anyways, I hope you all like my music. Before, we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, let’s take our moment of silence and pray for all of the things that are in our lives. Take a minimum of 5 minutes to pray for all of the things in your lives.

My music

I’ve been getting a lot of positive feedback from my songs. 

I don’t know if I’ve told you this, but my little sister is a big musician as well. 

My sister is actually like a supervisor for a county for the music department, and she’s only 21. 

But anyways, she has this big college education related to music and it astounds me as to what she knows because she’s so great at music. 

And she gave me some music advice and it makes my music so SOOO GOOD!!!! She was like an honors musician in college. 

Anyways, I’ve listened to her advice and it sounds so good, I’ve started to practice a lot of what she’s taught me and I’ve just been blessed. 

I have a few good songwriting books based off of the things that she’s said to me, but honestly, I just practice on my own the things that I know. 

Mainly, my weak spots were in my lyrics. My lyrics were the ones that needed to be worked on. And sure enough, my sister had the right answer to my lyrics problem. 

It’s nothing revolutionary.

But it’s something that I’ve always heard but didn’t necessarily trust because I heard a lot of my songs that I listened to and I just didn’t see what they were saying, no pun intended. 

See the thing is that you’re supposed to use imagery to make your songs. 

So my sister gave me some advice that revolutionized my lyrics, practice writing poems. 

So, I started to practice writing poems and I showed my sister my new and revolutionized songs and she said that they actually sounded good.

She said that they stuck with a theme and it was cohesive and the melody fit the lyrics. However, now I have the poem bug. 

Now, I’ve been writing poems left and right, on Facebook and in my phone. 

I also started to look up professional songwriting advice from YouTube and I’ve found some great videos from Berklee school of music. 

And I found this one video from Andrea Stolpe who has written great songs for Chart topping artists. And she said to use imagery, something of a pattern now aren’t we, but not only that, but she said to repeat things in the verse and then change it up in the chorus and repeat the chorus in a way. 

The way that you’re supposed to repeat things is either lyrics, rhythm, melody, note selection, etc. etc.
