My God is a king

Powerful, rich, strong, and righteous

He lives in a kingdom that’s guarded by soldiers

His chariots are the strongest that’s ever been ridden

He has a prince but they rule together

His word is final and he passes judgment

Except he knows every last detail

His armies are ready to die in the fight

Without guns, swords, or even a command to fight, they’ll die and give glory to the Lord for the remainder of the night

He commands the people in powerful places

From generals and other kings to the governors and their sons

His presence gives hope to everyone in his kingdom

For they know he is victorious in every season

He is wise and interprets the law righteously

He is smart and guides the engineers into making things

He is stronger than a lion in all of it’s pride

He always has the will to fight

He’s never lost a battle and the battle is always his

Regardless of whether or not the world sins

The land and seas are all his

He gives us gifts that are always good

Happiness, life, protection, and food

Husband, wife, Children, and truth

And so much more if we listen to him

Give it up for my God For God is a king
