So, gaining fans for a music career is no easy task. However, it’s not impossible. Nothing is impossible if you just start to follow the steps and process in making those dreams a reality.
When you first start out making videos and blog posts, it can be intimidating to the new marketer because you’re not used to the rejection and hardships that come along with being a new musician.
And the more you do music and get into your music career, the more people will say to you no.
That’s the honest truth. You’re going to get a lot of no’s first before people will start to say yes! It’s the cold hard truth.
But before we get into any more of that, let’s have our moment of silence.
At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray for all of the things in our lives. Pray to God to help you to become the best person that you were supposed to become. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for all of those things.
Now back to the show
How I started
I first started to gain fans and followers through my blog. Currently, I have 60 followers to my blog.
And you know what? I am so proud of each and every last one of them! Thank you to all of my supporters out there, I hope that the words that I say on this blog help you and help everything that you’re going through.
But I mean like, you have to start somewhere. No one starts at the very beginning with lots of followers and supporters.
Everyone has their days where they don’t know too much and don’t have too much.
When I first started, I’m not going to lie, it started out good. I remember within my first week I think I had my first follower.
But that’s the exception not the rule!!!
Most of the time, You’re not going to find that same level of success unless you’ve already been blogging about different things for a very long time.
It stinks, but it’s a hard lesson in humility.
I know what you’re thinking, “German, pretend like I have no friends on facebook, twitter, instagram, etc. etc. How can I start from square one and start to gain followers?”
Well, I didn’t have any friends either. As a matter of fact, my facebook friends didn’t know I had a blog when I first started to write in it and I still got a lot of follower my first year blogging.
So like, don’t put up excuses as to why you don’t have any followers. There really isn’t an excuse as to why you don’t have followers.
The only thing that I will say is that if you have problems starting your muic career, then I don’t think that, it’s your music career that you need to work out. I think you need to work out your relationship with God.
What happens is that God gives us the will power to fight through hurdles. God gives us the strength to get through the fight.
If you believe in God, anything is possible.
