Christian goals

Hey guys! So today, I want to share with you all some of my goals as a Christian. Keep in mind that you could have completely different goals than me and it would still be alright. However, there are some goals that we as Christians should all strive for. 

But before we get into any of that, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray for all of the things in our lives. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray to God to help us to become the best possible Christians that we can be.

For the world to know God

So my first and primary goal as a Christian is for the whole world to know God. I believe that we as Christians are sent out into the world to tell the world about God because that’s what God asked us to do. 

God asked us to do these things because he wanted the world to go to heaven. 

If God wants such a good thing to happen to the whole world, how can we not be passionate and eager to do this task?

It’s in the bible that we are supposed to spread the news about God, that’s without a doubt.

This is one of those things that I said that you should make as your goal. 

Jesus specifically said, “If ye love me, ye will keep my commandments.” 

Now we can do this through a wide variety of ways. We can, share the news on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, our blog, or YouTube. We could share it amongst our friends when it comes time to talk about it. We could sing songs about it. We could write songs about it. We could literally become a preacher or minister and share the news through a church. We could write newsletters, we could form books, we could write poetry, I mean there are so many ways that we could do this. And all of them would be correct. 

It doesn’t matter how small your work to share the bible is, just as long as you do it. 

2. To write songs about God

This is definitely not one of the things that you HAVE to do. This is optional.  

I’ll be honest, I first started to write songs about God because I thought that I had a deal with him. I thought that I made a deal with him that if he ever made me the best musician that there was, then I was going to write songs for him back. 

However, I just realized that God doesn’t do things like that. And that reason why I became such a great musician, is because I was constantly praying to God to help me to become a great musician. 

So it wasn’t the deal that made me a great musician, but rather God himself was the reason why I became such a great musician. 

Now, I don’t want to write songs for him because I have a deal with him, but rather, I want to write songs for him because I know for sure in my heart, mind, soul, and all of my body that it is the right thing to do. 

God is God and there is none other like him. He deserves to be praised by kings and governors. God needs to be praised in songs and I thought that I had a lot of value to put into music to worship God through song. 

In my heart, I believe that I was called to make music for God. I really do because of the talent that he’s given me for it. 

Literally in high school I was nicknamed a whole bunch of things because of the music that I could perform. As a rapper, my friends knew me as Eminem or Busta Rhymes because I could rap that well. As a guitarist, I was known as Slash, or Jimmy Page, or even Jimi Hendrix. Literally my friends nicknamed me after LEGENDS of rock and rap. 

I’ve done so much in music, literally I would be a fool to think that anything but music is my calling. 

I can’t believe it, I really can’t. God would not have given me so much talent if it was for a waste. No, he had a purpose for it all. 

I believe that he gave me a purpose for my music and now it’s time to actually put in the work to make it all happen. 

But back to the topic at hand. I have to write Christian songs for God. I believe that it is my calling to write songs for God and even though it might not make a lot of money, my God will be there providing for me to get through life. 

Besides I have to trust in God that God is the one that’s correct. 

3. To get my friends to know God

I know I said the world, but I know that, that’s also a huge leap. So as a smaller goal, I at least want all of my friends to know that God is the reason for the season. 

I want all of my friends and ENEMIES to know that they need God. The reason why I say that is because I’m Christian, and God is my king. And I have to believe that God’s way is the correct way. 

As part of that way, is getting the people around you to get to know God. God knows you love your loved ones and probably hate your enemies. 

But his will is that EVERYONE goes to heaven. That means your loved ones and your enemies combined! 

I have had bullies in the past and you know what? I forgive you. If you’re reading this and you bullied me in life, I forgive you and I want you to go to heaven. I’m going to pray about you and this. 

So, let’s get everyone in heaven! 

4. Preach to people in prison

I know that there are a lot of people in prisons out there in the world. And each one of them needs to know that God is real. They need to know that God is their savior. They need to know that God loves them. 

I have personally been in jail and I couldn’t help but to start singing in that jail. I sang Christian songs the entire time I was in there because the whole world needed to know that God is real. 

I just couldn’t help myself, I just had to let people know that their hope is in God. 

I know that I was sharing that to souls that needed it too. That’s the reason why I sang it. They all needed to know that God is still here.
