How to make good content for your Christian music blog?

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to be going over what you should do in order to make good content for your Christian music blog. 

But before we get into any of that, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us in all of our music ventures. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for these things.

How to make content 101

So, everything has a bit of a learning curve to it. You’re going to have to learn how to make content first before you make good content. 

So like if you’re a new blogger, try and start off easy and build your way up. 

I know that’s easier said than done because we are so anxious to start making content that will rank immediately on google. So let me give you a slice of humble pie. 

Most people will not find success with their blog on their first 50 blog posts. A little more than those amount of people will find success at 100 blog posts. 

And most of the people who find big success in their blog, are the people who have managed to put up content for years on years and have stayed consistent with their blogging schedule and not given up. 

So I know that you’re anxious to put up something revolutionary and exciting, but before you can do that, you need to have spent time creating content that’s okay. 

I’m pretty sure that if you go out and search on the internet for, “different types of content for a blog”, then you will undoubtedly find types of content that would go great with your blog. 

I personally like listicles the best. But as of lately I’ve been sticking to more of a story line approach. 

I talk things out as if though they are stories. It’s not an actual thing, the story line thing, but It’s what I call it personally. 

However, I did find success in listicles: 10 types of guitars every guitarist should have, Bible Verses that are absolutely essential to a Christian, Reasons why prayer is so essential to a Christian, etc. etc.

Those are all great themes for listicles and you can go as far detailed as possible with each of them.  

Diary entries are another great way to connect with people. 

To me, I started to do diary entries because I wanted to give people a taste of who I am outside of this blog and outside of what I am doing in this music career. 

I thought that maybe my fans would like to see the person behind the screen. So, I started to write about myself and my blog entries were a perfect outlet. 

Plus, through my diary entries, I can find a way to sort of vent and talk about things in my life.

So those are some types of content that you can make. But what if you want to just freely write about a topic?

Well you should almost always follow a particular topic when writing in a blog article. It makes the article more cohesive and concise. It gives the article a sort of backbone to it. 

But I get it, you want to let those creative juices just flow right? 

Well you can do rants about topics.

Ranting is fun, you can unleash all of your inner thoughts all in one go and probably write a lot about that topic too!

With that being said, let’s go into how to make good content.

How to make good content

When you’re making new content, you really want to take ideas that probably have already been talked about, but put your own twist to it. 

I mean I know for sure that there are probably a million other blog posts out there like this one, but are they specifically talking about Christian music blog posts? Are they giving you a way that is not clickbait? Are they telling you that it’s going to take time to make good blog posts? If not, then you know that what I have to offer is something valuable. Why? Because I’m telling the truth.

And the truth is better than false gold. 

So, I am adding value out there to the internet. I am adding something valuable out there. And this value is going to be found by someone and they are going to really appreciate it and share it with their friends. 

What I am talking about is something different than what everyone else is talking about. So many self-proclaimed “gurus” are out there and they are saying that you can get rich in no time. 

Well if that was the case, how come we don’t see that happening with everyone?!

So like here’s an example of something else that you could use for a Christian music blog.

I am talking about music theory, but I put as the title, “Music theory and what it means to us as a Christian musician?” 

In this article, I am specifically talking about music theory and how it would benefit us right? Right, so now I have to go in depth about that article and list all the reasons why Music theory is such a big benefit to us!

It could go on and on forever and you know what? That would be even better for our SEO. 

So to make a good piece of content, you really just need to take a simple topic and put your own twist to it.
