Is it possible to achieve my dreams?

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to go over what it means to achieve your dreams. I am also going to go over is it even possible to achieve such dreams in your life? 

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the people that we are supposed to become. Ask God to bless our hands with work each day of our lives.

Are my dreams possible? 

Yes your dreams are possible. However, we should all look at the bible verse that says, “with God all things are possible.” it’s in the bible. 

So it says “With God all things are possible.” Key words are WITH GOD. Now I don’t know what your dreams are for the future. They could be playing as a professional basketball player, they could be being a lawyer or doctor, or maybe being a construction worker or business owner. 

Whatever your dreams are, just know that it can happen if you have God at your side. 

Personally, I had dreams of becoming a musician. I dreamt day and night about becoming a musician. And finally about 16 years ago, my parents gave me my first guitar. 

And the rest is history. 

Some of you might have dreams of having a really big blog, or being another musician, whatever your dream is, just know that God can make those dreams come true. 

I had a dream not too long ago that I was going to have a successful blog at one point. 

The level of success that I want is not here yet, but I am expecting it in time. 

And this dream that I had was a far and distant gleam in my eye at one point. 

However, today, My blog is getting views and honestly for now, that’s more than enough. I know that if I just follow the path that God has made for someone to get rich on earth, then I will get rich on earth.

Yeah it’s true, God has ways of getting rich in heaven and on earth and if you follow them, then God will be the one to give you riches beyond your wildest dreams. 

Let’s go over some ways that God has put to get rich here on earth.

1. Seek wisdom. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” – Proverbs chapter 1. The first step in getting rich is actually found in proverbs chapter 1. It clearly states that with wisdom comes riches and honor. And the beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord. 
2. Work hard. “The diligent hand maketh rich.” that literally means that whoever works hard is the one who will be rich
3. Have patience. Good riches come over long periods of time. They don’t happen over night. If someone tells you that you can get rich over night, immediately get away from that person because they are trying to tell you something evil. 
4. Give to the church. The bible clearly states that giving to the church will make you rich. “Honor the Lord with thy substance and with the first fruits of all thine increase and so your barns shall be made full and your winepresses shall be filled with new wine.” I am misquoting that but it’s in the first few chapters of proverbs.
5. Give to the poor. God looks at the people who do good and he rewards those that do good. It says that in the bible. It also states, “the one who gives to the poor shall never lack anything.” all of these quotes can be found in proverbs

So I mentioned a lot of proverbs in here, didn’t I? Well proverbs is about the Richest man in the world who will ever live, giving advice. 

I know that some of you are probably saying to yourself that money doesn’t equate to success. But let’s get real, we all think that having a lot of money means that you’ve done something right in life right? 

I know that success doesn’t mean money, and it’s true it really doesn’t mean money. But when I was writing this success blog post, I had the idea of careers in mind. I wrote this about our dreams for a reason, because they are dreams. 

Dreams are long and hard life things that can happen to us if we just work hard at it enough. Dreaming is good and all but hard work is what’s going to get us through in life to achieve our dreams. 

Advice to you youngsters

I would say to dream big. Dream big and chase after your dreams with all diligence and strength that you have. 

All good dreams take a lot of times to make happen but once you have it, it will be worth it. 

My dreams

I have dreams of becoming a successful musician. However, I want to be a successful musician for God. I want to make music so that the world knows that it’s God who is behind the curtains of it all. 

I want God to take centerstage of my life. 

I also have dreams of making a successful blog. 

In reality, dreams aren’t that big, they’re just another career that we want to happen to us. Like it is a dream to become a doctor. You have to go to years and years of schooling, all the while you have to maintain your grades at a good level. It’s not easy having to deal with work, a family, payments, social life, family all at once. It’s not easy to deal with any of that. 

However, it’s the same as any other career. You’re going to have to persist even in the hard times. Ultimately, it’s going to be God who helps you to get through all of the rough times that you’ll have and it will be God who gets you till the end.
