Advice for new Christians in the faith

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to go over some Christian advice to new Christians in the faith. 

Before we go over that, Let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the best possible person that we are supposed to become. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for these things.

Christian advice

The main piece of advice that I can possibly give to new Christians in the faith is to love God above all else. 

The reason for that is because Jesus said so himself to “Love God above all else and love thy neighbor as thyself.” 

He said those things in that order because he wanted to put stress on how important it is to love God. 

Jesus said that the rest of the laws and the prophets all hanged upon those two laws. Therefore, I think that it’s more important to love God above all else than anything else that there is. 

We need to treat God as a king, therefore, we need to use our talents for him. 

I know that some of you are probably business leaders, well then use your talents for business to make churches and help the poor. 

If you’re a musician, obviously you know your talent. However, you are not constrained to the arts. 

If you’re a musician, you are a leader in this world. You write about things that happen around you and the social impacts of life. If you’re a Christian musician, you have a duty to the people that you serve. 

Therefore, make your career purposeful and make churches for the Lord, or how about build orphanages, or maybe create things for God. 

There are so many things that you can do in this life for God, so use your imagination. 

As soon as you can, pray

The minute that you become a Christian, you need to start praying. This life is difficult and things are not easy to do. However, the Lord is our strength, sword, and shield. The Lord guides us towards the right things. 

Therefore, we need to pray to God to help us to become better Christians. 

When you first start out being a Christian, you don’t really have the complete grasp of God. However, as your progress in your faith, you will learn that God is right and that the things that you did in the past were sincerely wrong. 

This is why prayer is important, we can lose our way in the faith. I’m not saying that we’ll lose our salvation, but we can live like there is no God even though we are Christians. 

It is prayer that’s going to get us to love God more than anything else in our lives. 

Lastly, read the bible

Personally, I think that it’s good to start out reading John and then the rest of the gospels and then proverbs. That’s the way that I would recommend anyone to start reading the bible. 

It’s important to read the bible because that is the word of God. 

Through reading the word of God, we are able to better understand what is his will for our lives. 

God has a will that he wants us to do through the bible and he also has a will that he wants for each and every one of our lives. 

I personally think that I was destined to write in this blog. I think that writing in this blog was always something that God wanted me to do because I’ve actually stuck around and did it. 

But I also have different things that I need to do. Like, I need to write music for him. I need to use all of my talents for him, I need to use my resources to help the poor and needy. I need to give to the church, I need to help build churches, etc. etc. 

It’s no easy task to do all of those things, but with the Lord’s help, I can do it all.

Praying, going to church, reading the bible, are all found in the bible, and since we know for sure that the bible is the living and breathing word of God, then we can be safe to say that we need to adhere to the things that the bible says.
