What is the bible’s main message?

The bible’s main message is Jesus. Before we go into this topic, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the Christians that we are supposed to become. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for these things. 

Now back to the show

The main message of the bible is Jesus.

All throughout the Old Testament and New Testament, we are reminded and shown that no matter how good someone is, They still need a savior in order to go to heaven. 

Even in Genesis, we are shown that Adam and Eve fell to sin and because of that, we needed someone to save us from our death in hell. 

And the same theme is brought up over and over again all throughout the bible. 

David was a good king, but he was still not the Messiah because he still sinned. David was great and all but he knew that the messiah still hadn’t come. 

Jesus loves us all. Jesus loved the world from the beginning. 

And we are shown all throughout the bible that Jesus was the good king that all the prophets talked about. 

Jesus is that lamb that needed to save us from our sins. 

I know I say John 3:16 a lot in this blog, but let’s look at some of the other verses around John 3:16, Let’s specifically look at John 3:16-18 it states, “For god so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son so that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. He who believes in him is not condemned, but he who believes him not is condemned already, for they have not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God.” 

So Jesus was the one who spoke these words. And he clearly states that whoever doesn’t believe in the son is condemned already. That means that Judgment is supposed to pass on them by the law. 

However, that’s not for us to be alarmed! It’s actually good news! The good news is that all we have to do in order to go to heaven, is to believe in Jesus and we will go to heaven. 

Now of course that comes with doing a few things like spreading the word of God, loving your enemies, and etc. etc. 

But the primary thing is to believe in Jesus. 

I know we might believe in Jesus but God will give us the strength to do the things that we need to do in the future. 

So believe in Jesus and you will go to heaven. Trust in that!
