***Just letting you guys know, I might receive monetary compensation for the goods and services offered on this blog post***

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to be going over how to  write in a Christian music blog.

I will be going over from start of writing all the way until the end of your Christian music blogging career.

Before we get into that, Let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us with our blogs. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray to God to help us to develop good blogs that showcase his word.

Now back to the show

Let’s start at ZERO

So the first step that we need to be able to do is being able to write effectively.

So, some of you might be kids that are just learning how to write from school. Therefore, this would be an ideal experience for you. This will get you practicing writing and typing so that you can grow more.

The more you type and write, the more you can ask your teachers questions pertaining to writing and typing.

Unfortunately, as kids, you oftentimes don’t have the experience to call yourselves professionals in any field. You are still in school and you are still learning a lot of essentials about life.

You probably don’t even know how to troubleshoot your own computer when it is down. You have to ask for your dad or mom to help you to fix your computer.

Therefore, if you’re a kid, give yourself some time to learn about something before you go off and write about it.

If it’s about your personal life, I mean I guess that’s fine, but if it’s about music or writing or even school, I think you should learn first about the subject and actually become a professional in that field first, before you go off and write about it.

If you’re an adult and writing was never your forte, I think that you should get writing immediately.

As an adult, we will oftentimes have experiences and knowledge that is valuable to people younger than us.

And as adults, we should feel like it’s our duty to educate the younger generations.

Also, writing is good for anyone trying to build their resume, business, or online portfolio. It looks really good on resumes showcasing that you can blog.

But don’t get me wrong kids, you should write, you should start a blog, it’s an extra curricular activity that can in turn manifest itself into something very good. If you’re a teen, I would HIGHLY recommend starting a blog. Because you’re getting ready to make that jump from teen to adulthood, you have to keep fighting.

Anyways, after we’ve started writing in our blog, let’s go on to step 2 and that’s…

Write like there’s no tomorrow

We need to write a lot of content, often. That’s the way that our page views are going to go up. That’s the way that our visibility is going to go up in search engines.

‘ We need to write consistently. It’s more important to write consistently than to write a lot. But writing a lot helps too.

I will say that if you had a choice between writing consistently and writing a lot, I would go with the consistently part. Because I have done experiments with both writing a lot and writing consistently, and I have found that it is better in the long term to write consistently than to write a lot.

However, writing a lot does help significantly to boost your moral. It hurts to see that writing a lot of content only gets you like a few views a month, and it helps to see that writing more actually gets you more views. It helps to see that progress.

You have to do this consistently for a few years before you get any recognition with google or wordpress, so stick to your guns and don’t get discouraged by a slow start.

Which leads us to the last step

Make mad cheddar

The last step is to make mad cheddar, bread, paper, mulla, in other words, Make that money!

Haha!! I know that was a little silly, but seriously, that’s all it takes to make a successful blog. Just put in the hours of work, and you will reap the rewards for making such a great blog.

I know it’s tedious and hard, but no one said it was easy.

As a matter of fact, everyone said it would be hard and would take time.

But you’re there, after 2 and a half to 10 years of blogging, you’ve finally came out on top.

Personally, I would hope that you would’ve found success faster than 10 years, maybee more like 5 years or 4. But hey, to each his own accord.

It doesn’t matter what time you’ve spent now, because all that matter is finding out which color Lamborghini matches with one of your beach houses in Malibu!

I’m just kidding again, it does matter the time you spent on it. Because it makes you appreciate what you have. It makes you humble and makes you realize that none of it would be possible if it weren’t for God.

It was difficult but you did it, congratulations!

***Just so you guys know, that I updated this blog post in 2025 and as of yet I am still not making mad cheddar so it’s a long slow haul. but I trust in God that it’s going to happen.

You should probably understand that most good things take a long slow time to achieve. So patience is the key element here.

Patience.

Currently I am getting between 400 and 600 views per month and I’m trying my best to make it 3,000 views per month but we’ll see.

I feel like if I started to get 3,000 views per month then I would start to get really good money from this blog, at least a part time income.

Give back

I personally believe that if anyone ever gets money in their lives, then they should give that money back to the community somehow.

(As a side note, Your first check from blogging might not be a million dollars, as a matter of fact, it could be very low. So keep that in mind)

Anyways back to the community.

God is the one who ultimately gives money. He gave us the jobs that we have today, he gave us the resources we have in our lives, he gave us all the things that we had.

So something you could do, depending on how big your checks are coming out, is you could start a church. Maybe find a preacher who would need some help in starting a church and just start helping to finance it.

Or you could literally give to your church, give by tithing. Give to your church by giving away 10 percent of all that you make to the church.

It is after all something that God has actually asked us to do.

God asked us to give 10 percent of all that we earn to him. That’s something that I need to work on too.

Another thing that you could do is give to the poor. God actually asks that the rich people give to the poor. God asks that because he knows that the situation with the poor is dire.

So God asks that we give to the poor. Find a good local food drive or clothing drive and give some things to them.

God will be the one who returns the favor, remember that.
