Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to be going over a few basic things that we as Christians should know about. We need to understand that we can be successful at all of the things that we do just as long as we have God at our side.
Before we get into this topic, let’s have our moment of silence.
At this point in time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to be successful at all of the things in our lives. Ask God to help us to be successful bloggers, musicians, lawyers, doctors, etc. etc.
Now back to the show
Christian anything
So, I often write about how to be a successful blogger. But let’s take it a step back.
Let’s be a successful Christian florist, dentist, preacher, teacher, musician, student, carpenter, etc. etc. In order to be a successful Christian anything, we must have 1 thing in mind.
We must abide in Jesus
What does that mean?
It means that we listen to his word with everything that we are. It means that we pray, read our bible, go to church, and love each other as we would love ourselves.
It means that we love God above all else, it mean that we seek Jesus’ will above everything that we are.
So, take a minute out of your day and reflect on this next bible verse that I’m about to share with you: John 15: 1-2 KJV states, “I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.”
Jesus was talking in this past verse and he said that HE IS THE TRUE VINE. and he was comparing us to branches because we are like branches. He is our root and we are only alive if we live through him.
And it even says that the branch that does not yield fruit, God purges it because he doesn’t want something that won’t yield fruit.
Therefore, we need God in our lives in order to really experience God entirely.
This analogy goes a little further deeper in verse 4, it states, “abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine, no more can ye, except ye abide in me.”
Therefore, we need God in order to fully live
