My advice to single dudes (as a single dude)

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to go over my advice to single dudes. 

Before we get into this, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the person that he wants us to become. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for these things. 

Now back to the show

My advice to single dudes.

HAHA! I’ve been there and DONE THAT!! I seriously don’t like being a single dude. 

I really want a girl in my life. But there’s something more important than having a good time. There are things that every dude needs to do in order to be a great husband and dad. 

I personally don’t think that anyone can be good unless they have God. 

The reason for that is because time and time again in the bible, it’s shown that men are evil naturally and it shows that the only good that comes out of this world came from God first. 

Let’s go over some of the things that a dude needs to get in order before he gets a girl. Keep in mind that this list is just things that I personally believe that I need to have first before I get married. 

Faithfulness to God

Above all else, you need to love God more than anything in your life. You need to love God more than you love people. You need to love God more than your wife and kids. 

I know that sounds kind of odd to some people. But it’s the truth. We need God that much in our lives. 

We need to be a praying man, a bible man, a church man. We need to have God at our side at all times because there will be times where our marriage is going to be tested and our faith is going to be tested and we’re going to need to have God at our side to get us through all of the difficulties in life. 

So faithfulness to God is a must before we get married. 

A steady job

I know that a great paying job isn’t always possible to us fellas. But obviously there is a financial element to the job of being a husband and dad. 

I mean if our kids want something, we’re obviously going to want to give them the best. 

If our wife needs to get food for the kids, it’s obviously best that we get it ourselves. 

And I know that everyone wants a house, a car, some money for the bills and a little extra to go vacationing with. 

But really, all of those things will fall in place if you ask God for it. God knows what we want and need, so don’t be scared to ask him for those things. 

Faithfulness to our spouse

We actually show faithfulness to our spouse before we’re married. We show it when we don’t look at girls the wrong way. 

We show it by not having sex with a whole bunch of girls. 

We show it by focusing on God all the time. Because God is the one who gives us the strength to stand up to those kind of things and stay faithful to our wife.
