What does the bible talk about?

Hey everyone! So today, I want to share with you all some concepts that the bible talks about. 

Before we get into this topic, let’s have our moment of silence. 

Hey everyone, let’s take a moment and pray to God to reveal to us what is his will in our lives. Let’s pray that God shows us and reveals to us the things that we need in our lives. 

Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

So what does the bible talk about?

So there are actually a few ways that you can perceive the bible.

However, you should know that the bible is the absolute truth. The bible is not fiction. The bible is non-fiction literature that talks about humanity.

So let’s talk about what the bible talks about.

The bible talks about God

The bible talks about our creator, the Lord God. It talks about his divinity and how great he is. 

It talks about his son who was prophesied all the way from the beginning of the bible all the way until the end. 

It talks about why we need to worship the Lord God. 

And it shows how much God loves each and every one of us. 

So what are the ways that you can read the bible?

There are two ways that you can read the bible.

Even though it’s non-fiction, you can still read it as a story. However, read it as a historical non-fiction. Because the bible has a lot of the same elements that a story has, It has love, and hate, war, and peace, ups and downs, and a happy ending all the way at the end. 

Another way that you can read the bible is to read it as instructional pieces of scripture. 

Because the bible can instruct us on how to live life. The bible gives absolute gold when it comes to life. It has things that will give life to all of those that adhere to it. 

What I do not recommend

If you’re a new Christian or new to the faith, I do not recommend you reading the bible from the beginning to the end. Why? Because it’s a lot of terms and phrases that though you might be able to understand it, it takes a lot of research to understand what the truth is. 

And not only that, but it’s thick and heavy reading all the way at the beginning.

What I recommend reading is starting out with John, the gospel John. Read the entire gospel of John and then go to Proverbs. After Proverbs if you can read that, then read the rest of the bible. 

Still go to church and learn from church, but you have to do your own studying too. 

So what is the main point of the bible?

The main point is the most beautiful message that you could ever hear. 

The point is to tell us that though we were lost in sin, the Lord wanted to redeem us. 

The Lord God wanted us to be saved. The Lord wanted us to be with him. 

So the Lord made a plan and the plan was that he was going to send his son to earth to play the part of the perfect sacrifice so that whosoever believes in him shall not die but go to heaven and live with God. 

I often will say if you want to go to heaven, then believe in Jesus and you will go to heaven. (John 3:16)

Well that’s a reason why I put that bible verse at the end of that message because I want the world to know that the Lord wants them in heaven. Regardless of what you do, the Lord wants you in heaven! 

I know that the Lord wants me to do this, which is why I do this.
