Hey everyone! So today, I thought I’d share some tips about those bad thoughts that we all get when we’re going through some rough times.

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to mentally prepare us for the worst of times. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Now back to the show

Bad thoughts about tough times

So I believe that we all get some similar thoughts in our heads about the rough times that we all go through.

Let’s talk about a few of them and why you shouldn’t think these things.

You should not think that God hates you

God loves you with all his heart. God does not hate you.

There is a verse in the bible and it states in Proverbs 3:11-12, “My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction: For whom the Lord loveth, he correcteth; Even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.”

But even still with this verse, I am not saying that God is chastening you.

But if he is, You should look at it in the good way.

You should look at it like he loves you so much that he is correcting your ways because he wants what is best for you.

The entire book of Job was dedicated to a man who was perfect. The book of Job described Job as a man who loved God and eschewed evil.

And a whole bunch of evil things happened to Job because Satan wanted to tempt Job.

And God allowed it.

And when Job demanded that God answer him because he said that he had done nothing wrong, God answered him in a miraculous manner.

And God answered Job in a way that was perfect and righteous.

And after the end of his answer, God said that he knows that things are difficult, but he’s just going to have to trust in God.

And that was the end of God’s answers.

During the whole time while Job was going through his trials, his friends came and tried to offer comfort to Job.

And they were saying things like, “God is good” and “Only the Evil suffer Evil” and “God loves the good person.”

Now even though all of these things are correct, they don’t apply to Job’s circumstance.

And so when it was all over, God only would accept a sacrifice from Job and not from his friends because they were incorrect in what they were telling Job.

So I know that things are difficult, But you can’t doubt in God because God wants you in heaven.

And I know that things are rough, but trust in God and his perfectness and things will be alright.

You are sinful

We are all sinful. We all have sin and none of us is better than the other just because we have money, power, cars, etc. etc.

The only one who is better is God.

We are all sinful, so don’t be so hard on yourself.

I don’t care if you’ve done big sins, or little sins, God loves us all the same.

God thinks that we all deserve the same punishment but he loves us so much that he made a way for us to be redeemed

Do not think that it’s because of your past that you’ve gotten into the situation that you’re in right now.

There is no point in crying over spilled milk.

That’s an old saying but it’s true.

If you’ve done something bad, look to the future and ask God to help you every step of the way.

I don’t deserve God’s blessings

That is not true! There was a thief right next to Jesus when they were being crucified. And the thief called out to Jesus and Jesus said, “You will be on my right hand today in heaven.”

There are countless verses in the bible that state in the New Testament how everyone was being saved in the beginning and they came from all sorts of backgrounds: Killers, Homosexuals, liars, thiefs, idolaters, and everyone was completely allowed to go to heaven.

And you know what? Everyone has done bad things in their lives and each one of those people, God wants in heaven.

Don’t think that you don’t deserve God’s blessings because you most certainly do.

I sure hope that I have been an inspiration and a hope to you all. Please remember if you want to go to heaven, then believe in Jesus and you will go to heaven. (John 3:16)
