It’s because of God

Hey everyone! So today, I want to share with you all some things that I honestly have to thank God for. 

Before we go into this topic, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to stay pure at heart. Ask God to help us to be excellent Christians and to convict our hearts to do the good things in life. 

Now back to the show

I thank God

You know it’s funny. I grew up hearing all sorts of evil things at the time. However, I didn’t know at the time that those evil things were actually real. 

I thought that people were just joking around. 

And now that I’ve grown up, I see that these things were true all along. 

And so, I’ll be honest, I am so blessed with a lot of things. And honestly, it was all because of God that all of those things happened. 

Let me share with you all what were some of the things that God helped me with. 

Not being evil

All throughout my life, I believed in God. and even though I wasn’t following him with ALL my heart all the time, I was still serving him because I would listen when my pastors and my teachers and my parents told me that something was wrong. 

I would especially listen to when my parents told me that something was wrong. 

And so, I grew up with this big fear of authority and it in turn made me an upstanding citizen. 

However, I never knew that by listening to God above all else, I would be accomplishing other things.

I learned after reading the bible that if you listen to God, then people will like you. 

The people that you want to be around will like you. The bible even states that, “When a man’s paths are good unto God, even his enemies are at peace with him.” 

And I didn’t know that. 

However, I trusted God with all of the things that went on in my life. 

And I trusted that God would get me through all of the things that happened to me. 

And so, above the law, I trusted God’s word and his word was always correct. 

And to this day, people do like me. I see it all the time. People always want to talk to me. I have friends no matter where I go. I have friends and people love who I am. 

However, that’s not to say that it’s because of me, it’s because of God. 

I know for sure that if it wasn’t for God, I would be nothing. 

I will say it again, I am nothing without God. 

Now look at the world and compare

Now let me ask you something, is the world evil? 

I say yes it is evil. 

You have supposedly “good people” being charged with murder and rape. 

You have people in authority who commit heinous crimes. 

And if our leaders are like that, How can we as a people be any better? 

I was hearing on the internet today something that I thought was just awful. 

I saw that people were joking around with rape. 

First off, I want to say that rape is NOT a funny subject. I think rape jokes should be banned from comic routines. I think that it should be banned from music. 

Those aren’t JOKES. They are awful words that need to be stopped. 

Ultimately, people can argue about whether that’s a funny subject or not.

However, they’re not funny. 

I thank God for opening my eyes and showing me that those ways are wrong ways. 

I thank God for showing me that those jokes aren’t good and that crimes like that shouldn’t even be in our thoughts as common words unless we’re like lawyers, policemen, doctors, or judges. 

So back to what I thank God for. 

I ultimately thank God for opening my eyes. 

I remember back when I was a kid, I kept hearing people say that God had opened their eyes. 

I kept hearing people say that God had opened the eyes of their hearts. 

And I never understood it until now. 

I see that our heart does have eyes. 

I see that God truly does open our eyes. 

For we were blind and now we see. 

God really did open my eyes. 

Like literally. I’ll even share with you how he opened my eyes. 

My parents were always instructing me to do things all throughout the times that I was growing up. When I was a kid, I didn’t understand some of the things that my parents wanted me to do. 

However, looking back, I see that all that they ever taught me was nothing but valuable Gold. 

They taught me love and wisdom and intelligence. They taught me about strength and the love of God. 

And ultimately those teachings came from God.

And now, I see that all of the things that my parents taught me were true! 

You look back at yourself and see if all of the things that your parents taught you were true?

However, the things that they taught you had to have been in the name of God. Meaning if they told you to go out and steal, then you can’t go out and steal because then it would be against God’s orders. 

So I know that there would be some people who say, “What if our parents sexually abused us?” 

Well you would automatically know that what they did was wrong and so you would have to tell the authorities and let God take care of the rest. 

So, Looking back, all of the things that your parents told you under the name of God, was it right? 

Did they teach you love? Did they teach you how to act? Did they show you wisdom? 

I’m not saying that life will be fair for everyone, However, I trust in my God that God will direct people to him.

And you know what God promises? 

God promises that you’ll have everything you need. 

God promises that if you give to him back, then you will always be rich. 

God promises that even if you’re not rich, you can be rich in heaven and that’s where it will matter most. 

God promises that he will never leave you nor forsaken you. 

God promises that nothing is impossible with him. 

God promises that he works day and night for his people. 

God promises so much to us. And his promises aren’t for the rich, the poor, the fortunate, or the less fortunate, he doesn’t promise it to the kid with a promising future, or to the kid with no future whatsoever, 

He promises it to everyone. So trust that God’s promises are true, trust in him. 

I’m not someone that you should trust, and you should trust that God has worked in me! 

Listen to who I am.

I was a poor immigrant son, I wasn’t bright, I didn’t speak english, sometimes it felt like the fighting in my house would never stop, I’ve attempted suicide, I have psychosis, and schizoaffective disorders, I’m not strong(as of right now), I’m not the wisest, I’m not the smartest, and yet God has done so much for me! 

Because of God, and only God, I have done amazing things in life. 

The Lord gave me wisdom and intelligence. The Lord gave me strength and courage. The Lord blessed my hands with work over and over again. 

And you know why? Because he is the GOD of promises, of pacts!

And you know what? I’m just realizing that now

Remember, it’s because of God.
