My top Acoustic Christian songs

Hey guys! So today, I’m going to share with you all my top acoustic Christian songs that I absolutely love. 

Before we go into this topic, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the people that he wants us to become. Ask God to prepare us for the moments where our faith will be tested. Ask God to help us to better get to know him. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for these things.

My top acoustic Christian songs

I could sing of your love forever by Sonicflood.

Now the original song is actually by a band called delirious. 

And don’t get me wrong, the way that the original band did the song was absolutely phenomenal.

I absolutely loved, “I could sing of your love forever” by Delirious. 

But, Sonicflood was the version that I heard first. 

And I absolutely loved the dual guitar work that Sonicflood had with that song. 

And I absolutely loved the change of voices to do the second verse. 

In the second verse of the version that Sonicflood did, there is a girl singer. 

And in a way it builds up the songs even more than with the male singer. 

This way, it sounds like it’s getting louder and more intense even though they are singing the same notes. 

I know that technically they are singing different notes, but it’s the same note. 

I promised myself that it would be the first song that I learn how to play on the guitar if I ever learned the guitar. 

However, my dreams were crushed because at the time, YouTube was relatively new and I couldn’t find videos on the internet to show me how to play it. 

It wasn’t until just recently that I learned how to play that song. 

And that song fits me perfectly. 

If you’re a low tenor, then that song is for you. 

If you’re a high tenor, then Delirious’ version is for you. 

Either way, it’s a beautiful song and I highly recommend it to everyone!

Here I am to worship by Sonicflood

I know that I’m talking a whole lot about Sonicflood, but bare with me because they have some really great songs that are covers. 

Paul Baloche was the original author of this song and he does an amazing job at singing it. 

However, again, Sonicflood outdid themselves with this song. 

I’m not going to lie, I am a little biased at songs that are within the range that I sing. 

And the way that sonicflood does this song is right in the range that I sing. 

It sounds so beautiful and it’s easy to sing. 

Paul Baloche either sings it too low or too high. 

But Here I am to worship just describes the Christian. It describes me as who I am. I am here to worship, here I am to bow down, Here I am to say that you’re my God. You’re altogether lovely, altogether worthy, altogether wonderful to me. 

And then in the bridge they sing, “I’ll never know, how much it cost to see my sin, upon that cross, to see my sin upon that cross, to see my sin upon that cross.”

Anything by Hillsong

Hillsongs albums have transformed my life. I have learned many valuable lessons from Hillsong and Hillsong United. They have been a blessing to my life and to my ears or a long time. 

My friend actually showed me that band. And I fell in love with it.  

A caveat about Hillsong

I feel like they are a church that my pastor doesn’t want me to listen to. 

My church is actually very conservative in a political and ideological standpoint. 

Hillsong is a little on the liberal side. 

However, I think that Hillsong has awesome messages in their music. 

And it’s like, I don’t think that it’s bad to listen to them because of a few reasons. 

One, if I didn’t like them for their political or ideological standpoints, I wouldn’t go to church with my church because I don’t agree with them politically and even some ideologies. 

The reason why I go to my church is because I know that the message is good and I read for myself the bible and I see for myself if what they are saying is true. 

And it is. 

I love my church with everything that I am, but I mean if I don’t like Hillsongs Political or Ideological agenda, then I wouldn’t like yours either. 

Two, They are people trying to make good Christian music. 

I think that anyone who makes Christian music like Hillsong does has already proven that they love God.

Why? Because their lyrics describe God first and then Christian things. 

I don’t mean that they put their message first in every album, but rather, that they have the main message of the album as prevalent in their songs. 

I remember once that my pastor said that it’s not good to listen to them and when I asked him I said why? 

He replied, “because they don’t talk about God in their music.”

And I couldn’t help but to think to myself, “If you really don’t think that they talk about God in their music, you wouldn’t sing the songs that you have.” 

Literally I have read the lyrics to my Church’s songs and they don’t directly mention God.

A song can be a spiritual and not directly mention God, it’s possible! 

They sing it all the time. 

I even know of a few songs that I”VE SANG IN THE CHURCH, that were created by POP musicians who were Christian. 

And they don’t like to sing things that are on the radio because they are pop musicians that supposedly “say that they are Christian.” 

Anyways, I think Hillsong is a good band. I think that they make great music and I absolutely love them.
