Hey guys! So today, I wanted to share with you all how the Lord is comforting me.

Before we go into it, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the person that he wants us to become. Ask God to comfort us in our time of distress and ask God to help us in all of our endeavors. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for these things. 

Now back to the show

The Lord is comforting me.

So it’s funny because all of these days, I’ve been having such a struggle. 

I said in an earlier post that I went through something just recently. I also said that I was seeking help for this thing that happened. 

However, I found that God himself is comforting me. 

God is comforting me by giving me wisdom to be happy. 

God is providing wisdom for me so that I can live a good life. 

I feel like sometimes the errors that I’ve done in life are just too much for me. 

And then God comes out with his comforting spirit and he comforts me when the time is right. 

I’ll give you guys an example. 

Today was my friend’s birthday and we went out and celebrated.

I didn’t drink or party, we just went out and had something to eat with the old crew and had steaks. 

My friends drank, but I didn’t drink, and I think my friends respect the fact that I don’t drink because they left me alone with my water. 

Anyways, my friends and I had something to eat but not before an amazing day at work. 

So today, actually started like this, 

I got up and I got ready for work, my sister dropped me off at work and I brought my gym things with me so that I can workout after work. 

But during my day at work, I had such an amazing time. 

I think mainly because I’m understanding pool ball a lot easier now. 

What happens is that I’ve been practicing a drill in pool ball and I just can’t seem to get down the drill. 

To me, it’s a very difficult drill, but it’s supposed to be for beginners!!! 

HAHA!!! 

Anyways, it works like this.

  If you play pool ball, then maybe you can catch along with what I’m saying. 

I take three balls and I play only on one half of the pool table.

When I say one half, I mean I theoretically cut the table hamburger style. And one half is what I play on.

Then, I randomly put those three balls on that side of the table.

Now the cue ball is ball in hand, which means that I can place it wherever I want on that half of the table, and once I put my cue ball in position, I try and run out the table. 

Run out means that I hit all of the balls in a row without scratching or missing a shot.

There’s a few catches to this though.

One, I can only use top spin, bottom spin, and stun shots.

Two, the cue ball cannot go to the other half of the table  

Three, all of the balls can go in any pocket on that half of the table or the other half of the table, the only ball that cannot cross the other half of the table is the cue ball. 

And lastly, I have to call my shots and where they’re going to go. No slobs. 

Say for example if I see a pattern and I see that the one ball can go in the top right corner, the two ball goes in bottom left corner, and the three ball goes in the right side pocket, I have to call that, and I can’t shoot the ball into another pocket or else that counts as a loss. 

I actually got down the gist of the drill. 

It took a while before I could get it down, but I got the gist of the drill, now it’s time to perfect it. 

So, right now, I can probably do that drill around 3 to 4 times before I mess up. 

WHICH IS GOOD, because I’m doing that quite often.

However, the goal should be to do that drill 10 times in a row.

Without messing up. 

After I complete that drill and mastered it, then I can move on to the same drill except with Four balls this time. This first drill had three balls, now this drill has four balls. 

When I say balls I’m not counting the cue ball. Then 5, and then 6.

Once I have those drills down, then it would be time to move on to the next drill which are full table patterns. 

I practice full table patterns on my own, however, I must say that I’m not that good at full table patterns, they’re extremely difficult.

I have run out full tables before and in games, but it’s rare that I do that. 

I’m not trying to  rate myself in Pool, but if I had to, I would say that I probably rank at around a 400 in the Fargorate system. 

It’s just from what I’ve read of what is a 400 in the fargorate system. And so yeah.

Anyways, I had such a great day because I think I was able to complete that drill. 

Even though right now I’m still ways away from competing at an awesome level, I’m still progressing. 

And then after work, I went and I worked out. 

I actually benched 125 10 times for 2 sets and on the third set I benched it 6 times. However, I did bench 135 for 4 all the way at the end. And then 145 for 3.

I felt good. 

I also increased the amount of weight for my incline bench press. 

I am now incline dumbbell pressing 30 pounds on each side for 3 sets of 10.

Which is good, I wasn’t doing that much before. 

I superseded my last two sets of incline dumbbells with pushups. 

And I have to say, I did look like I got a pump! It looked good!

Afterwards, I took a shower at the gym and I ate dinner with my friends.

We had such a good time. I love hanging out with my friends. They are a bunch of cool dudes to talk to. 

Now I’m here and I’m conversing with you!

Haha! Today was such a good day! The Lord blessed me today. 

The Lord comforted me today. 

The Lord was with me today. 

I thank God for being with me.
