God is a struggle for us Christians. The reason why is because his zeal is strong, he doesn’t let go of us, he is addicting, and he is wild.

Before we get into this blog post, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the person that he wants us to become. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for these things.

Now back to the show.

The zeal of God is a problem for Christians. The zeal causes us to be angry at ungodliness. We stand for what’s right. We stand for God. We stand for the lives of people. And it honestly is a dangerous zeal because it’s like a sword. It needs to be used appropriately. Of course, no one ever learned how to use a sword without getting cut first. Therefore we should expect a lot of people to be stumbling over how to use their weapon. The zeal of God is oh so important to us though. It drives us to do the right thing no matter what. It inspires us to never give up. It makes us want to live a life that is godly. God is the one who ultimately does that.

2. God doesn’t let go of us even when we want to let go of him.God chases us everywhere. That passion that drives you mad, that anger that strengthens you in war, that determination that fights for you when you can’t fight anymore, is always there. And he won’t let go of you no matter what. I honestly sometimes want God to get away from me. I want him to stop. I even sometimes say to myself, STOP THINKING about him. I say to God sometimes, LEAVE ME ALONE. However, as I say those things, the zeal of God just intensifies and I immediately ask God for forgiveness. Once you’ve set your heart for God, it really is no going back. And it’s a struggle because sometimes you just want to cry and fail and lay flat on your failures. However, God doesn’t let us do that. God picks us up and he puts happiness in me. He never once has let me lay flat on my failures. He never once has left me alone. And sometimes I’m upset with him because he does that! Can you imagine that? God being so good, doesn’t let me be sad. God with all of the angels in heaven doesn’t let me be sad because he thinks about me? Why would he even do that? It’s because he’s that good. It’s strange, I will literally be more upset at the fact that God won’t leave me alone than I am about the situation that’s going on. And even then I can’t be upset. I might be upset for a little bit, but God always comforts me when I need him.

3. God is addicting. I just mentioned above that God won’t let you go. But honestly guys, I see something now. We humans have addictive habits and traits. We can get addicted to anything. I’ve gotten addicted to music before. And honestly, I see why we have that. We are addictive Creatures by nature because we were supposed to be addicted to God. Our lives were supposed to revolve around God. Our nature was supposed to revolve around God. Why is it that we get addicted? Because we’re chasing that high over and over again. And we want more and we need more and more and more. However, the only one who can fulfill that need, is the one who never runs out. Is the one who can provide more, is the one who will always satisfy our souls and that is God. So, if you become addicted to God, you will never be addicted to anything in this world.

5. God is wild. Do you know how powerful God is? How powerful is God? Let me tell you how powerful God is. God could be wrong and right and be never wrong all at the same time. God doesn’t say a word to man and yet people hear his voice. (not literally but they hear his will) God is invisible, all over the world, was always here and will always be here forever and ever. God is with each one of us. Where are you guys? Are you in the United States? Are you in Japan? Are you in South America? Well he’s there and he’s here with me right now. That’s how powerful God is. Like, what is the biggest thing you’ve ever seen? Is it Jupiter? The Sun? How about the Milky way? Is that all you can give me to say that, that’s the biggest you’ve ever seen? Well let me tell you something, God is infinitely times bigger than all of those things. INFINITELY. How great is that? How wild is that?

The solution to this struggle is that we need more God. My mother told me a story of how one time she heard a satanic preacher say to a Church. This satanic preacher had actually converted to Christianity. And he said this, “If you guys knew how powerful your God is, this world would be a different place.” How powerful is that? If we knew how powerful our God is, this world would be a different place. What would we do? Would we find world peace with God? Would we end world hunger? Would we have superpowers? What would this world be? Imagine that! What would this world be? If we knew how powerful our prayers or our supplications to the Lord is! How powerful is that?

Thank you all so much for listening in on this blog post. I sure hope that I have been an inspiration and a hope to you all. Please remember if you want to go to heaven, then believe in Jesus and you will go to heaven. (John 3:16)
