The best way to read the bible

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all the best way to read the bible. 

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to understand his word. Ask God to guide us so that we can build our relationship wiith him through his word. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for these things.

The best way to read the bible

In reality, I think that the best way to read the bible is to actually read it. There might be people out there who say that you need a guide or a teacher to teach you all of the metaphorical teachings that there are in the bible. 

However,

I say that I don’t think that, that’s absolutely necessary. 

The reason is because you can actually read for yourself all of the things that God wants you to understand just by reading the bible. I guess if you get stuck with something you could ask someone for help. However, why not just ask God for help? 

Pray to God to guide you towards the right thoughts and ask God to teach you his word before you start reading the bible, he will teach you.

I am a big fan of learning by doing, so learn by reading the bible and learn on your own all of the things that God wants you to know. 

There is so much wisdom in the bible. 

I find that whenever I read the bible, I say to myself, “Wow, that is absolutely true!” 

Like the other day, I was reading in 1 Corinthians and I read something that couldn’t have been more true.

I can’t remember what it said, but it was just downright true and it struck me. It struck me because all of my life I had wondered about that particular subject and by my own experience, I had come to the conclusion that the bible was telling the truth. 

But that’s not all.

The bible gives so much wisdom about life, work, relationships, and most importantly God that it’s just impossible to ignore what God is trying to teach you. 

We need God in our lives. 

And you know what? If you read the bible, you will never fail. Even if you misinterpret the bible, you will never fail because you are learning about God. Just remember to stay humble and to always seek God’s wisdom first before your own. 

But what about reading aides? 

There are a plethora of resources out there that can help you to better understand what God wants us to do. 

However, we should be wise enough to know that not every one of those reading aides or resources is a good resource. Sometimes they can be misleading. 

Therefore, the best hope that we have in reading the bible is to actually read it and pray to God about it. 

We need to pray to God to help us to learn more about him on a daily basis.
