I thank God

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all the reasons why I thank God. 

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the best possible person that he wants us to become. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for these things. 

Now back to the show

I thank God for music

At the time, I didn’t know it. But the Lord had planted a seed in me that really grew into something. 

The Lord planted in me the gift of music. 

Not everyone has the gift of music. 

Some people really don’t want anything to do with music. They might like it a lot, but they’ll refuse to go through the challenges of what it takes to become a musician. 

Like it’s strange to me the reasons why people don’t want to learn how to play the guitar. It really is strange. 

Some people say that the guitar hurts their hands, which is true. Other people say that they never learned the piano because they couldn’t keep beat, which just needs practice. Other people say that they don’t learn how to play the guitar or instrument because it needs talent. Talent that you were assigned from birth. 

And you know, I don’t know about how I feel about that anymore. 

I always said that anyone can play the guitar. 

But after experiencing life for a little bit, I realized that there is a certain truth to that. 

The reason why I say that is because God has a plan for all of us. He gave us that plan from birth, and apparently he let me be a musician, and a great one at that, not to toot my own horn. 

But the Lord sincerely has blessed me from birth. 

Ever since I was born, the Lord was thinking about all of the things that he was going to let me do, and he truly has been the most beautiful person in my life. 

But of course, God gave us free will, it’s not that we’re just robots. God gave us free will because he loved us. 

And of course, I made the decision a long time ago to follow God. If it wasn’t for that decision, I would never have become the person that I am today. 

And ultimately, God was the one who shared the message of the gospel to me. God had mercy on me from the beginning.

For that, I am eternally grateful. 

God has literally given me so much in life. He not only has given me a house, food, clothes, shoes, guitars, talent, wisdom, intelligence, no God did not stop there. He gave me Height (I’m 6 foot), he gave me strength (I workout), he gave me jobs, he gave me friends, he gave me money, and he continues to give me so much.

Sometimes I feel ungrateful for the things that God has given me. Like, I know of all the things that I’m supposed to do to keep the things that I have, it’s just a lot of work. 

It’s strange, because the things that I pray for, God gives me. I prayed to become strong, I prayed to become a musician, I prayed for friends, jobs, relationships, life, school, and you know, some of the things, I never got, but The Lord knows what’s in my heart, and I want the good things that God has to offer.

So you know what? I’m going to keep praying, keep going to church, I’m going to keep reading my bible, and I’m going to let God take the wheel. 

I can work all day long, but what profit does it have in the day of wrath? 

I can be lazy all day long, but that’s not righteousness. 

No, I need to be with God, I need to serve God, and serving God takes many forms.

Serving God literally means that you work hard, So I need to work hard. 

Thank you God for shedding some light on me.
