Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all how the Lord answers my prayers time and time again.

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the person that he wants us to become. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for these things.

Now back to the show

The Lord answers time and time again.

So it’s not strange because it is how God designed it, but I realize that everytime I start with God first and then my journey, the journey is a lot smoother.

Like I will give you guys a few examples.

Back when I first started playing music, I actually prayed to God before I ever had a serious practice session. And I prayed every time that I would practice because I wanted God to bless my hands with work in music, and we all know how that turned out.

And I’ll be honest, that wasn’t the first time that, that ever happened.

When I was a kid and I realized that I needed God for everything, I started praying to God to give me good grades. I started praying to God to help me to become well-educated. Sure enough, I’m in college right now and I do have in mind to get my degrees.

I don’t doubt that there could have been a million and one things that would’ve stopped me from getting my degree, and yet, the Lord helped me to achieve my High School Diploma.

Then I saw that God was giving me things that I asked him for and so I asked for very specific things.

I prayed to God to make me exactly 6 foot tall, and he did that.

I am exactly 6 feet tall and it was because of God.

I asked God to do a whole bunch of things and sure enough, the Lord replied to all of it.

And so when I got my first guitar, I asked God to intervene in my life.

I asked God to make me a great musician, and he did that.

And now, I asked God to help me with this blog. I asked God to help me to develop this blog into something beautiful. I asked God for help so that I can become an excellent blogger.

And right now, I have been blogging for nearly a year straight.

I’m not going to lie, I took two, two week breaks.

So I missed a month throughout this year.

But the rest of the year, I practically blogged every single day.

I blogged for hours on end. I worked hard at this blog.

And you know, I trust that god rewards the hard worker and I trust in him alone.

I started with God first in this blog journey, and I trust that God will be the one to make it into something great.

But also

Also, the Lord answers faster than we expect. Today, I realized that I had been listening to the voice of God this whole time!

Not literally an audible voice

But a voice that speaks through prayers, words in the bible, and church.

This voice is still and small, like how I’ve heard it to be.

But it speaks words of truth and wisdom.

I was always told to work hard, but I never really understood what all that meant until I started working! Haha! Well I was working hard in school for a little bit, but when it got challenging is when I just flopped and that’s not working hard.

I know now what I need to work on in order to work hard, I need God.

I could say a million things right now that would make you a harder worker.

Here’s a few

You need to be persistent, diligent with your studies, listen to authority, patient with results, humble in learning, willingness to fail and get back up again 1000x over and then 1000x after that, you have to be professional, you have to wake up early, dedicate yourself to a job, be willing to be poor, etc. etc.

There are a million things that are needed in order to become rich and successful, however, all of those things come with hard work.

And all of the good things require something extra from ourselves that isn’t found in people at all.

It’s only found in God.

Let me ask you this, out of all of the things that I just mentioned above, what part sounds like fun? None of it, being poor isn’t fun, being professional isn’t fun, waking up early isn’t fun, all of those things are needed though to be a hard worker and those things are better done with God.

God gives us strength to do the good things in life.

God gives us the ability to do all of the things that I just mentioned and more.

It’s difficult, but God gives those things to the people that he loves.

And writing in this blog makes me realize that God is the difference between me being alive and me being dead.

It really is life and death.

I personally believe anyways.

Because if you listen to God, then you will find life. If you don’t listen to God, you will find death.

And that’s not just a bible verse that I just said, no that’s actual examination from life itself.

I’ll give you a few examples.

Let’s talk about sex for a second.

Everyone loves sex.

However, it has to be done the Godly way.

And I’ll tell you a few reasons why.

If you have sex outside of marriage and your spouse has sex outside of marriage, then you two could catch an STD or STI.

For those of you that don’t know, an STD or STI is a disease that messes with your sex.

AIDS is the biggest one, but there’s also gonorrhea, syphilis, crabs, amongst others.

And they can be life threatening.

Currently, there is no cure for AIDS, syphilis is life threatening, gonorrhea is life threatening if it goes untreated.

And let me tell you how much of a problem it is… They’re EPIDEMICS.

Yeah a lot of people have these diseases.

So like, I’m not trying to scare you into not having sex because sex is needed in the marriage.

But I am saying that, that’s preventable if you and your partner remain chaste until marriage.

I’m not going to lie, I have had sex outside of marriage before, but because of GOD alone, I don’t have anything like that.

But right now, I’m trying to practice no sex until I am married and I’ve been successful at it for 5 years.

The reason why is because I want to give God my all, my all. I want to give God my body, I’m not trying to sound weird or anything, but I want to give God everything that I am.

My heart, my body, my mind, my spirit, my songs, my everything, I want it all to belong to God because God knows what to do with everything, and I don’t know anything.

And the way that I will give God my all is by not having sex until marriage, which is how God wants life to be.

I’ll give you another example:

Lying. Being a pathological liar means that you can’t help but to lie. Ok let’s take it a little bit less extreme than that, if you lie a lot but are not a pathological liar, did you know that Harvard studies show that liars are highly likely to become serial killers.

Again, I’m not trying to scare any of you, but it’s the top university in the world studies that I’m quoting, it’s not me.

And facts like this are found in almost any vice that is against God.

If you don’t listen to your parents, that literally means death.

Why? Because when you’re a kid, your parents MADE you go get your shots, if you don’t take your shots, you’ll die!

I know what you’re thinking, “Some parents don’t give their kids shots!”

Well when you were a kid, your parents told you to watch both ways before crossing the street or else you’ll get run over!

“That’s a no brainer” you might reply

Well what about being respectful to people, or doing well in school, or cleaning your room, or working hard, or not giving up, are all of those good things?

Literally listening to God means life in ALL ASPECTS.
