Oh boy has the Lord been good all these days. I’m not going to lie, I still have my struggles, but I want to rest in the Lord and hope in him that everything is going to be alright.
Anyways, this blog post isn’t going to talk about struggles or pain, no, we’re going to be grateful for all of the things that God has done.
Let’s have our moment of silence.
At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the person that he wants us to become. Pray to God that we are thankful in everything that we do. Be thankful to God for all of the blessings that God has done for us. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.
Now back to the show
I am thankful for…
The Lord has sincerely blessed me in the work that I’ve done. The Lord has blessed me since birth.
I grew up, not the richest, but I grew up with a mom and a dad at my side. I honestly don’t know where I would be if it wasn’t for them guiding me along the way.
My parents shaped my life and ultimately, my mom was the one who God used to show me about him.
My mom showed me a lot of things about God, she was the one who was taking me to church, buying my bibles, encouraging me to pray, and reminding me that God is the answer to life’s most difficult questions.
And God is the answer to life’s most difficult questions.
But my dad, even though he wasn’t Christian, instilled a lot of bible principles into me.
He didn’t know it, but he gave me a lot of wisdom and it was all from God.
Of course I listened to my parents when they were listening to God, never against.
I am so thankful for that.
I am thankful for the blog that I have.
This blog that I have, I have managed to write in it for 2 years now.
I used to write in this blog a lot, now I’ve cut back, but the Lord is giving me the work ethic to actually write in this blog.
The Lord is giving me the patience to wait in this blog for the good things that are to come with this blog. I am about to cross the two year mark in my blog in January and I’m so excited to see all of the things that God is going to do.
It has been a rough two years, but I honestly think that God is building something great.
I am thankful for the jobs that I have.
The Lord has blessed me with huge opportunity.
The Lord has blessed me with two jobs for the Holidays and hopefully I can still get the job working for the fire department.
I really do hope that I can become an EMT, it would be such a blessing to me.
I am thankful for all of the hardships that I’ve gone through.
You know it’s funny, Just recently I met someone who inspired the mess out of me.
He’s Christian and man does he show it every day.
Every day he’s a blessing in my life and I try and imitate him, but it’s just too difficult.
And you know he’s shared with me some of the hardships that he’s been through and he still worships God like how God should be worshipped.
And I honestly thought that I would never meet someone like this man.
I’m not going to share with you all the hardships that he’s been through, but this last thing that he told me broke my heart in two.
I could not imagine going through all of the things that he went through, and yet he is an EXTREMELY successful man. And I just thank the Lord for this blessing to meet him.
And thus, when he told me this last hardship, you know what he said to me? He said and these are his exact words, “Everything happens for a reason.” and he said to me, “if all of those things didn’t happen, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”
And so, I just can’t, he’s too good for me. Like it literally hurts me to look at him because he’s so good. I honestly thought that I would never meet someone like him.
I honestly thought that I would never meet someone like me!
I’m telling you that this kid does a lot of the things that I do but FARTHER!
He prays, he reads the bible, he goes to church, he lives his life like it belongs to God and he does it all better than me.
I honestly don’t think that I could ever do that. I’ve been trying to do that for years and I just can’t.
I want to! And I hope that you guys can pray for me so that I can become more like what God wants me to become.
But I don’t know.
I honestly thought that if I listened to my parents, worked hard, went to church, and listened to church, then I would get closer to God.
And it does! Don’t get me wrong.
But this guy that I met, takes God to a whole other level.
Unlike anyone I have ever seen.
It is such a blessing to be around him.
I am so thankful to be around him.
I thank God for making my manager and I thank God for letting me meet him.
And this is the reason why I say, I am thankful for the hardships that I have been through.
Because if it wasn’t for the hardships that I’ve been through, I wouldn’t be the person that I am today.
