Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all a post titled Focusing on building myself as a musician.
Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.
At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray for all of the people in the world. Pray so that God can save everyone from hell. We know that praying for something like that may sound like it has a lot of raw energy and no guidance, but we as Christians have to hope that those things come true because that is God’s will. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.
Now back to the show
Diary Entry: Focusing on building myself as a musician
You know it’s funny, I got the inspiration to write about this blog article just a few seconds ago when I was talking to my friend who showed me how to work out.
You see what happens is that my friend who works out has always been one of the strongest guys that I’ve ever seen in person.
He lifts heavy and is a well-rounded athlete. He played football, he did wrestling, he was just an overall jock.
And he was the one who taught me how to workout.
And what happened was that I called him up really wanting to wish him a happy Thanksgiving.
However, we ended up just chatting away about working out.
And he laid on me some knowledge that was more so of wisdom.
He said, “German, when you pick up fitness, it has to turn into a lifestyle.”
And then he built upon that by saying different things. He said, I know that it’s difficult to go to the gym, but start off with once a week, and then maybe twice and three times a week.
You see it all takes slow and steady progress in order to actually do anything in the gym.
And then he said, a few other words that really laid on to me as to how I should take upon life.
I mean, I’ve always known these truths, but I never fully grasped it until just now when he was explaining it to me.
He said, it has to become part of your life. You got to do it to the point where you can’t miss a day without going to the gym.
He didn’t say that exactly, but it was hovering around that point. And so, this is where we start.
Taking on blogging as a lifestyle
I now see that I have to take on blogging like a lifestyle.
I can’t focus on getting any money as of right now because I don’t have that many readers. I have to put in the work first before I reap the rewards.
And so, I need to take up blogging like this lifestyle that I just need to do, like the gym.
I’ve always done blogging with the mentality to work and to do it as a job, but really if it’s going to be a part of my life, it has to become a part of me.
I’m not saying that it’s going to turn into my god, because Jesus is my Lord.
But I am saying that I am going to turn it into a part of me.
And no matter at what stage my blog is at, I’m going to faithfully build it like anything else.
Right now, I’m at the stage where I’m still beginning, but it’s okay.
I’ve built it for two years now and the Lord has given me some views on some days and no views on other days.
And it’s alright, it’s what God wanted.
And honestly, I think that by now, I have already turned it into a habit to force myself to blog.
I think I built that habit about 9 months ago when I was blogging nearly for 6 hours a day.
Over time, I think that the habit was built but, Honestly it really kicked into gear about a few months ago.
Now it’s really hard for me to go to bed without having written in my blog first.
I can still sleep without blogging, I haven’t gone crazy just yet, but it’s such a habit right now that I can actually work in it continuously for days and months on end.
Anyways, that’s my take on blogging
Build a lifestyle of gym
You know it’s funny, I can honestly go to the gym for 3 maybe 5 months at a time.
However after that 5 month mark when things start to get difficult, I find it difficult to actually go to the gym.
And I don’t know if my job changed or I lost my job or what? But I either can’t make the payments anymore, or I just lose sight of my goal of going to the gym.
I’ve always had this big goal of being a bodybuilder, you know just having a really great physique.
But I can’t stay in the game long enough to actually see any real changes in my body.
I’m trying to do it again this time.
So far, I’ve managed to go to the gym for 3 months.
Now it’s about time that I start to ramp things up with the workouts.
And I’m going to build a lifestyle around the gym.
Build a lifestyle around God
All of my plans and aspirations will only work if I have one common denominator involved, God.
God has to be in my plans at all times because if he’s not, then I won’t go anywhere.
No matter what happens, there will always be something that can get in the way of doing the things that you need to do.
Therefore, we must include God in our plans at all times.
If he’s in our plans, then we can rest in him so that our plans can come true.
Thus, we must build our lifestyle around God.
All of our lifestyles must revolve around God.
