The worst things to do in your music promotion strategy

Hey everyone! Today I’m going to share with you all the worst things to do in your music promotion.

Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the person that he wants us to become. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray to God to help you to do the things that you need to do.

The worst things to do in your music promotion strategy

The first thing that you SHOULD NOT do is to be inconsistent. 

Along with a majority of the great and wonderful things in life, The first thing that you should not do is to be inconsistent with the work that you put in. 

This is another journey, much like the music journey that you started many years ago, and this journey should get you excited because that means that you’re close to the end. 

When you ask yourself the question, “how can I get more people to look at my music?”, then at that point, you’ve already started to do something that is almost close to being finished. 

Usually the inexperienced people will say that you need to be “found” or been “lucky” in order to make it in the music industry. 

However, all of the professionals know that it’s actually a lot of hard work to get into the music industry. 

It takes years of pain in order to get something good in the music industry. 

So don’t get discouraged by a slow start. 

All good things come with time, so keep consistently doing the things that you need to do. 

The second worst thing

The second worst thing that you could do is to give up. Often times with people, the trouble is starting the habit of doing the work that you’re going to do. 

So, the habit part is hard. I think I read somewhere that it actually take around 6 months to actually build a habit. 

So, if you can get past those 6 months, then you’re good! 

Never give up on your dreams and aspirations, especially if they’re good ones, always remember that Rome wasn’t built in a day, neither was the house that you live in, and neither was anyone’s music career, so remember to build your career like you’re building a city. 

The third worst thing

The third worst thing is to get discouraged.

Here is some motivation for you, There are millions of people out there who are making a living doing what they love to do. 

Why can’t you do it? 

The thing is that you can! 

Just for a second, stop what you’re doing, and imagine working for yourself and doing the things that you want to do. 

And getting paid a good living while doing so! It’s highly encouraging and motivating to do something like that. 

The fourth worst thing to do

The fourth worst thing to do and the absolute worst thing to do, is to not include God in your plans.

I know I preach this on this blog, but it’s absolutely essential to have God included in ALL of our plans.

Let me put it to you like this, are there a million things that can stop you from doing the things that you love?

Are there thousands of things that can stop you from growing up to see your plans come to action?

Are there thousands of things that can leave you without any further explanation? 

That’s the thing, you have to pray to God to help you to do the things that you want.

God can help you to pave a path so that your future is bright. God can help pave a path so that you can grow as a person.

And God can bless you.
