Remote music industry jobs!

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all my favorite remote music industry jobs that are out there. 

Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the person that he wants us to become. Take a minimum of 5 minutes to ask God to help us to work hard at the things that we want.

Remote music industry jobs

So, there are a lot of music industry jobs that are actually remote. However, I feel like this comes with a caveat of a sort to say. 

Like, almost every job that you could possibly find could be near your house, it’s just a matter of how hard you want to work at it and how much time you want to dedicate to it. 

Like say for example, I am currently a Christian music blogger with a big emphasis on Christianity. That’s my personal schmick. I do this because I feel like it is my moral obligation to talk about God and music at the same time. 

I feel like God has given me a strong talent with music and he has also given me a desire to serve him. 

Therefore, I made a Christian music blog. I did not wait for anyone out there to hire me for a job that would’ve been impossible to get hired. I went out and I did it on my own. 

Even though I only have an hour or two a day to commit to this blog, I do not let that stop me from serving God.

Also, you have to know that when you do something as good as being in the music industry, you have to know that it takes long periods of consistent effort and work to actually become the person that you want to be. 

So even though I only have an hour or two a day to work on this blog, I work hard throughout those hours and I know that eventually the work will catch up to me and reward me for my efforts. 

But I know that you didn’t come here to get lectured, let’s talk about a few remote music industry jobs. 

Music blogger! (hey hey hey!)

Music blogging has got to be at the top of your list of jobs that you would like to do from home in the music industry. 

The reason why is because it’s really the most accessible and easiest thing to do. You need to have writing skills, which you can learn on your own. You need to have internet connection, a computer, patience, and that’s it! 

What happens is that the music industry will contact you and pay you for your blogging efforts if they see that you are someone who is very influential in your own blog. 

OR, they could ask you to write for them. 

However, this means that you would’ve had to have spent a lot of time writing first. This means that you have to start your own blog. 

You could get an English degree too, however, that’s sometimes too far out for us. 

If you can prove that you can write quality content consistently, there will always be job opportunities. 

But you don’t have to sign with a record label in order to make money from a blog!

You can make money from your own blog, and lots of money! 

You can make a lot of money through your own blog. 

It just takes a lot of time and patience. 

Artist (My favorite)

What is better than working in a job where there is no boss. All you have to do is to make great music and put up the image that you are the person that you want to be.

That’s actually what I’m working on right now! 

I’m working on becoming a paid songwriter/artist for myself. I don’t want to be signed to a record label as of yet.

This means that I really don’t want to be signed to a record label because I can actually put up my music on the biggest platforms really cheap. 

So I really don’t need a label right now because I’m handling the marketing side of it and I’m going to handle a lot of other things too. 

But you can make your music and build an audience on the internet and you can make money from your music. 

You can actually build your audience from your blog.

You can also build it through your YouTube channel. 

Session musician

Thanks to the internet, we now can share files and sounds easier than ever to each other. 

Now because of this, if someone half way across the globe wanted us to work on a song with them, we can. 

Therefore, this makes session work easier. 

If you’re any kind of musician: vocalist, guitarist, drummer, bassist, keyboard, etc. etc. you can make money if you just purchase a DAW and a good laptop to record your sounds. 

Using Fiverr is actually the move for this one.

Fiverr makes it easy to make purchasing your session work easy. 

And of course, this is absolutely remote. 

Just make sure that you’re one great musician when you do this because you are going to use Music theory and advanced skills in order to make this happen. 

*Remember this

Remember that there are a lot of jobs out there that you can do and it is remote. Just do your best to take time each day to work on it and you will be fine.
