Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all the Salvation that Christ has given us.

Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the Christians that we need to become. Ask God to put humility in our bodies, ask God to strengthen our lives so that we reflect his word. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Now back to the show

Salvation for the world

I always talk about John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”

I know, I know, you’re probably saying to yourself, “German, you’ve already talked about Salvation in the past, why are you talking about it again?”

Well, I think that Salvation, along with every other lesson in the bible, is important to talk about over and over again.

Specifically, with Salvation, I feel a little obligated to blog about it as often as possible because the good news needs to be spread throughout the world through the internet.

I know that I’m doing something good with this blog and therefore, it needs to be used for God’s purposes.

Therefore, let’s talk about Salvation.

The fall of man

When Adam and Eve were created, God created them with one rule and that rule was to not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, if they did they would die.

And so Adam and Eve ate the fruit of that tree because the serpent tricked them into eating it. So then God put a curse on mankind saying that we were going to suffer for the rest of our lives and that we would no longer live forever but die one day.

And it was so.

However, God left them with a promise.

God promised Adam and Eve that one day there would be a redeemer who would come in and save all of mankind from their sins. This redeemer was going to “Bruise the head of the serpent with it’s foot however the adder would hurt his heel.”

It’s a long story as to what all of that means but to sum it all up it means that this redeemer would defeat the serpent but it would come at a cost to the redeemer.

And all throughout the old testament, God promises time and time again that there would be a redeemer who would defeat the serpent and allow people to live with God eternally once again.

Jesus the redeemer

Jesus is that redeemer.

The bible describes how the redeemer would come about to become the redeemer. And sure enough, Jesus fulfilled every prophecy.

And then, when it was time, Jesus died on the cross and came back to life on the third day, just like he promised. Now anyone, regardless of whether they were Jewish or not, could goo to heaven and live forever with the Lord and there would be no more peace and no more sorrows in their lives.

That’s the hope that we Christians have.

We hope that one day we will go to heaven and live with God eternally.

And it will happen.

Now why do I say this in a blog post?

The point is that we need to share this message to the world because the world needs to hear about the good news!

The good news is that no matter what you’ve done in life, you don’t have to be condemned by God anymore. Now, you are free from your sins and you can go to heaven where there will be great treasures and rewards.

The Lord is good with his promises. The Lord promises great things and when he says that there are going to be great rewards in heaven, he means that there will be great rewards in heaven.

Trust in God about this, not me.

And the beautiful thing about the rewards in heaven is that there will be no thieves in heaven, all your treasures will be yours, trust in God.

But what about hell?

Yes hell does exist.

If you do not believe in Jesus, hell awaits you.

I’m not trying to sound like I’m damning you, but rather, I’m just trying to tell you about the consequences that are associated when you don’t believe in Jesus.

The bible is clear, even Jesus says it.

Right after he says John 3:16, he states in 3:17, “He who believes in him is not condemned but he who believes him NOT is condemned already. For they have not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God.”

Actually Jesus himself explains it really clear starting from around 3:15 all the way until the end of John chapter 3.

So go ahead and read it yourself.

But cheer up!

But cheer up! The good news is that we can avoid all of that! We can live! We can experience the goodness of God’s grace.

God is good and we shall inherit his kingdom if we just listen to him.

Be cheerful because this is a time of rejoice.

God is coming and he does provide salvation to all of those who want him.

Do you want him?
