Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all some words of wisdom for an 18 year old.

Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the person that he wants us to become. Ask God to guide us more towards him every single day. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Now back to the show

Words of wisdom for an 18 year old

So, If I could travel back in time to my 18 year old self, I would say alot of things pertaining to God.

Currently I am 26 and I’m about to turn 27 in 3 months.

So with all that experience, I actually know what is the right answer to all of the things that I had questions to back when I was 18.

The first thing that I would say is that God is real.

God is real and we need him. He doesn’t need us to survive, we need him to survive.

I know it’s a humbling thought, but that’s the first thing that I would say.

The second thing that I would say is that it actually takes a lot of time to make a lot of money.

I know you see on the T.V. and the internet that there are millionaire kids out there, however, that’s an extremely rare anomaly.

Therefore, don’t get jealous just because you see someone rich and young because that’s actually something that isn’t supposed to happen.

I remember back when I first started hearing about 16 year old millionaires, I kept saying to myself that I was going to do it too.

However, no one told me what that implied?

It implied that you started working hard towards your goals when you were 4 years old! That’s what that means!

And of course, I didn’t know that I had to have patience in order to do the dreams that I wanted until I was like 11.

At 11 years old, I started to pace myself in the music world and I really started to work hard in it.

That’s another thing that I would tell myself, I need to work hard to make my dreams a reality.

In the book of Proverbs, Solomon states that wisdom has “riches in her right hand and in her left and honor.”

So like, the first step would be to gain wisdom if you’re trying to get rich.

I know that some of you are probably thinking to yourself that I’m a prosperity preacher, but trust me I’m not.

But the thing is that prosperity is also a part of the word of God.

Now, I’m not saying that you will become rich and you will never have another bad day, that’s not what I’m saying.

What I am saying is that if you follow God’s way, it will be easier than following the world’s way.

But anyways, back to the tips for an 18 year old

Another tip that I would give is that I would say to myself that you need to listen to your parents until death.

I know that there were a lot of instances where I didn’t listen to my parents growing up, however, I know better now than to not listen to my parents.

And it was God who opened my eyes.

Last thing is to be thankful for all of the things that God has given you. Be thankful that God has given you the abilities that you have. Be thankful that God has blessed you with guitars and a voice and strength to do the difficult things in life.

Always remember God.
