Diary Entry: Update on life as of 1/7/23

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to give you guys an update on life as of today. 

Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the person that he wants us to become. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Diary Entry: Update on life as of 1/7/2023

Hey everyone! So I’m just trying to give you guys a little insight into my life regarding music, life in general, and some of my goals for the new year. 

So without further ado, let’s get started. 

Life

So everything has actually been running smoothly. I don’t know if I told you guys this but my sales job shut down it’s mall locations and so now I don’t have the second job that I was working. 

It’s okay though because I was going to leave right after the holidays anyways.

I have a job right now sustaining me for the time being, I just hope that God can give me patience to wait and endure until this blog provides for me. 

I’m not going to lie, I have looked into getting other certifications in other fields. 

I have looked into getting certified in certain computer certifications.

I have also looked at how to improve my resume by picking up foreign languages.

Anyways, that’s what I’m doing right now. 

I’m writing more poetry because my lyrics are actually a weak spot in my musicianship. 

If I were to write better lyrics, I feel like I could really be one of the greats out there. 

But I’ll go more into that in the next part of the blog.

My music

I have recently started to pick up song writing more aggressively. 

What happens is that I really want to become a songwriter, and I know it takes work in order to do that. Therefore, I am looking at how to improve my lyrics and overall concept album building.

Actually, I’ve written a few albums in the past, but I have never written a concept album in order to write a full length studio album.

It would be a blessing to have the time to make a concept album so that I can create better studio albums. 

But I digress. 

Like I said in the previous section, I am writing more poetry because I believe that will help me to write better lyrics. 

I’m so glad that I picked up blogging because all of this writing is going to help me to write better lyrics too. 

The gym

I am actually trying to lose weight. 

I am considered overweight, not by much, but I am considered overweight.

I am actually 6 feet tall but with how much I weigh, I shouldn’t be this heavy. 

I have managed to lose 4 pounds over the course of about a month. I started doing cardio and weightlifting about four months ago and I absolutely love getting stronger and faster. 

I have also made some friends over there. I asked them if we could name the crew Team Friendship, in honor of Puss n boots the last wish.

I don’t mean to brag but I am benching 155 10 times for 3 sets.

I Just squatted today and I did 165 10 times for 2 sets and on the last set I did 8.

So yeah, I feel good and strong right now! Haha! 

Last but not least, my relationship with God

I have done something that I thought would be impossible for me to do.

I have given up completely my music and I have given it to God.

I actually quit listening to music of this world and now I listen to nothing but Christian music. 

The reason why I did that is because I know that’s something that God wants me to do. 

I honestly don’t want to listen to worldly music because it’s a lot of wrong things being said all at once. 

And I know that the purpose of music is to actually worship God through song so why would I pervert the use of music for something else? No offense to any worldly musician out there. I’m sure that you all write the best and that you have good intentions but I just don’t see it the same way.
