What is actually good in life?

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all what is really good in life. 

Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the person that he wants us to become. Ask God to put good things in our lives. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

What is actually good?

So, I hear so much talk about different sensitive topics in life and I hear one common theme, which perspective is right? 

I understand when people wish to figure out the truth, but honestly, the truth can only be found when looking for the truth from God. 

The world could give you a million answers and each one of them could be incorrect. 

But the only one who really defines what is good and what is not good, is God. 

I mean, who says that killing someone else is bad? Literally before the law of Moses, people killed each other for just looking at them the wrong way. 

The only one who says that killing someone else is bad is the Lord. 

Who says that stealing something is bad? Let me put it into perspective.

Imagine if a husband wants to rob a pharmacy because the pharmacy has a really expensive medicine that his insurance doesn’t cover. 

And this man needs it so he can give it to his wife.

Should the man steal it?

To me, I believe that the man shouldn’t steal it because it’s against the bible to steal. 

But some people would say that it would be morally wrong to not let the man steal it. 

You see, the world says that certain things are okay whilst other things are not okay. So what do you want to believe? 

And ultimately, i could tell you a whole bunch of things that the bible says but the point is are you going to believe in God or the world?

And I’m being honest here, I wouldn’t want to see anyone in that situation, but we all must think of God first before we go to any other resorts. 

The reason why I say that is because even though this question wasn’t DIRECTLY answered in the bible, the bible speaks of things like this. 

And the bible states that you are to trust in God above all else. You are also supposed to love God more than you love your spouse, that literally means that if you were to face the situation mentioned above, then you are to pick the holy way. 

I know that I say that without a wife at my side dying. And I hope that God won’t put me through that test. 

And I’ll say this too. 

I say this answer having no wife or kids and no reason to worry about things like this. 

So, I am saying that you have to pick the holy way right now, but when it comes down to it, I don’t know if I would change my answer. And I think that, that’s fair to say because I don’t have a wife or kids. 

I know for a fact that I’ve done ungodly things without heavy consequences in the past, I don’t know how I would respond when lives are on the line.

So, that’s my answer. 

And that’s the reason why I say that God is the only good in our lives.  

The reason is because of the example that I mentioned above. We humans don’t know what to do all the time. 

And our answers change depending on the circumstances.

However, God remains the same today, yesterday, and tomorrow. He remains the same good God in the heat of the battle and in the calm of the storm. 

And I’ll be honest with you, that’s the best way to be. 

The reason why I say that is because, have you ever been around someone and they change their answers all the time around you? And they change their answers so that they can benefit for themselves? 

God doesn’t do that. God gives us the solid rock answer so that we can benefit from it. 

But there’s more to it than that

But I would be lying if I said that, that’s the only reason why God is good. 

God is good because he loves us more than our parents. God is there for us whenever we’re down. 

God is always looking out for us. 

God provides life and wisdom and intelligence and strength. 

God gives and takes away and you know what? Holy, holy, holy is his name. 

He might take away from you, but who cares? If he took away from you it’s for a reason. 

God took away from you for a reason and it was to bless you. Never forget that God knows us more than we know ourselves. 

Always trust in God.
