I would give up anything for God. What does that mean though?

Before we get started in this blog topic, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to follow him. Ask God to guide us away from evil thoughts. Ask God to deliver us from evil. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Now back to the show

I gave up 1.3 billion dollars for God

I used to gamble.

I’m not going to lie, I used to play poker and lottery games.

And if I’m honest, the games left a scar in my heart that might never go away.

I remember back when I was playing poker, I remember the fun that I used to have while winning and losing. To be honest, I didn’t care about losing. I wanted to win, but I felt that learning the game was far more fun than actually winning.

I know I’m psycho! But hear me out this has a moral.

And so, one day, I spent 100 dollars on the day I got paid on lottery tickets.

And my friend looked at me and said, “You’ll never get rich that way.”

And at that instance, I felt like I had hit the end of my gambling days.

And I said to myself, I’m never buying lottery tickets or gambling again.

And to this day, I’ve kept up my promise to myself.

So why do I say that I gave up 1.3 billion dollars for God

Ultimately, it’s not Godly to gamble, I know it. You might try and argue, but to be honest I don’t care what you think, I care what I think. So don’t try and change my mind.

And the lottery was just at 1.3 billion dollars.

Did you know that the scar that I had in my heart was engulfed with fire in my heart.

And don’t you know that I was tempted to give up God for the lottery ticket.

For something that I was going to feel ashamed about in a day or so.

But I kept up my promise to God and myself, and I did not buy the lottery tickets.

From time and time again my scar ignites, especially when I see lottery tickets.

But I don’t want to give up my God for something that’s just foolish.

And that’s the reason why I can say, I would give up God for anything, including 1.3 billion dollars.
