Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all some insight on the things that you should know about music careers.
Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.
At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the person that he wants us to become. Ask God to guide us towards the career that he wants us to have. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.
Now back to the show
It’s a calling
Like with every other profession that there is in life, it all requires a calling to do.
I mean, I could very much like to become something that I’m not. However, it’s going to be God who guides me to do the things that I need to do.
And whatever that God has in store for me is PERFECT.
It’s not good, it’s not awesome, it’s perfect.
I remember just a few weeks ago, my boss told me that God doesn’t give good gifts, he gives perfect gives.
And I was astounded by this because I saw that God had done something amazing in my life.
He had given me the gift of music.
And I know for a fact that God wanted me to have the gift of music because all throughout the times when I was performing a solo, all the times when I was practicing the guitar or getting recognized for my amazing musical abilities, I would always remember that it was God who was doing the work and who was blessing my hands to do the work that was needed to be done.
And even though I did lose my ways with music, I eventually found my way back.
Now, I don’t want to play the songs that I used to play before. Now, I just want to write Christian music because this gift was God’s and it should be used for God.
Thus, making this gift a calling from God.
God does not do things for vain purposes. God has great purposes for everything.
It is a blessing from God
I know I kind of touched on this in the upper part of this blog post, but I’m going to dive into it a little bit deeper here.
A blessing from God is perfect.
And I know that it’s perfect because God has called all of us to do different things.
God has called some people to become soldiers and officers.
While God has called some people to die in the mission field.
God has called some people to be writers and governors, and others to become strongmen and athletes.
It is true that God can call people to become athletes.
And the best part is that God knows each and everyone of us.
God knows each one of us and what we want and he would never give us anything that we don’t need.
God’s gifts are perfect. Therefore, take the time and pray to God early on about the things that you want to do in life.
Always remember that God is good so he will never give you anything outside of his will.
Lastly
The last thing that you should know about music careers is that the only person that you need to start playing music or start a music career, is God.
Ask the blessing from God. Ask the blessings from the Lord. Ask God to guide you throughout all of your difficulties and he will always guide you to the path that you need to go to.
Never forget that God doesn’t have to give you this gift. So, be humble to the fact that you and the rest of us are under the power of God.
Be humble and if God blesses you with music, then accept it, but if he doesn’t, then move on to the next. God is good, remember that.
