I know what you’re thinking, “What can a young adult who has NEVER had kids tell me about raising them?”
Well sit back and read the rest of the blog post.
Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.
At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the people that he wants us to become. Ask God to always guide us in the right direction. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.
Now back to the show
Always follow God’s plan

So I could remember growing up and I could remember just how big of an influence my parents were in my life so early on.
And honestly, it was the lessons that are in the bible that really stuck with me.
The bible said to listen to your parents, the bible said to work hard, the bible said to be patient and love and to love God above all else.
Now my parents were of course teaching me these things, and I did grow up with both my parents. But I realized as I got older that even though my mom loved God with all her heart, she too had her flaws.
And I started to really question myself, “Am I following my mom? Or am I following God?”
And I started to see the different things that my parents were doing and that I didn’t think were Godly.
And so, my mom always said to me, “I can fail you one day, but God will never fail you.”
And ultimately Mom’s and Dad’s, that saved my life so many times.
Not trying to say that my parents did something terrible, because they didn’t, but I followed God before I followed my parents and ultimately that has guided me throughout my life.
And the bible states that we are to love God above our parents, our sisters, our brothers, our friends, our houses, our jobs. We are to love God above everything and we are to treat him as God.
And that has ultimately shaped me into being the man that I am today.
I’m not trying to sound like I’m bragging, and I have done my wrong deeds in the past, I’ve been in jail before.
But I will say that I kept God and God’s service in my mind all throughout my life.
So the thing that the bible says about kids is that we are to instruct our kids at a young age to love God and to love his ways. We are to instruct our kids to listen to their parents and authority and to have a good attitude towards it. We should teach them to always be honest, strong, loving, and kind, that’s ultimately God’s ways.
We need to teach them to love wisdom and intelligence and grow up strong. We need to teach our kids to love God.
If anything ever happens in your family and you don’t know what to do, my mom always prayed for me and it always worked. So, pray! Pray your heart away! Always work along with that prayer, but pray, follow God’s instructions, always read the bible, and pray.
