How to die daily?

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all how to die daily.

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and ask God to help us to die daily. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

How to die daily?

So, I just recently came across this topic when I was reading the bible. 

I actually read this verse in Sunday school. 

What happened was that there was a special missionary to Burma and they were there trying to get support and help to do the things that they wanted to do over in Burma. 

And they shared the message of how we are to die daily. 

But what does that mean?

What does it mean to die daily?

Let’s talk about this

Dying daily means to do the things that you need to do rather than the things that you want to do. 

Dying daily means that you do the things that you need to do because you need to do them. 

To a student, it could mean doing your homework when you know for sure that you don’t want to do your homework. 

To a musician, it could mean finishing the song that you want to finish and actually setting it in motion to get it recorded. 

It’s responsibility. 

However, in the verses it means more so responsibility towards the Lord. 

Doing the things that you need to do towards the Lord. 

And In a way it means doing the things that you need to do period. 

The reason why is because eventually, after submitting ourselves to the word of God, we want the things that God wants and we put ourselves in position to do the things that God would want us to do. 

So that’s what I’m saying, it’s about doing the things that we need to do. 

Paul even describes it in the very confusing manner that is the human nature. 

He says, “because the things that I do not want to do, I do, and the things that I want to do, I do not do.”

And it is so true! We often are EXTREMELY ATTRACTED, to our sinful nature. 

We are attracted to the evil that this world has. And because of that, we have to fight to do the things that are holy, that are good. 

We ultimately have to pray to God to give us strength to do the things that are good and holy, 

But we also have to submit to the word of God and the people of God to do the things that he wants us to do. 

Now it’s time to share with you all the things that God wants me to do

I’ll be honest with you guys, I prayed to God to give me music. I prayed to God to bless my hands in the field of music. 

And ultimately, the Lord has blessed my hands with music. 

The Lord has guided me with music.

And I couldn’t be more grateful for it. 

However, the Lord did not give me music for nothing, the Lord has purpose for the things that he gives. 

So, the things that he wants me to do is to play music, write songs, and use music to uplift, worship, and praise his name. 

I prayed to God to bless me with music, therefore, music is his. 

There are some other things too that God wants me to do. The Lord would want me to work hard in all of the things that I do, that’s certain. 

Therefore, the Lord wants me to work hard at my job. The Lord has blessed me with a job and I’ll be honest, sometimes I feel a little lazy, but I want to work hard for the Lord. 

I want to work hard as if though I am working for the Lord. 

And I know that God is not sarcastic, and that God will reward me for my hard work. 

I also know that I am to listen to my parents under God. I know I am supposed to do a whole plethora of other things, but they all revolve around God.

And that’s what makes it so good, that it revolves around God.
