Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to describe to you all the meaning behind the lyrics of the song that I made, “Jesus I love you.”

Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to make great Christian songs. Ask God to strengthen our hands in the Christian songwriting process. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Now back to the show

The meaning behind Jesus I love you

I actually got this idea for this song after reading the book of Job. I drew so much inspiration about the book of Job that I just had to write about it.

The first verse goes,

“I don’t know why the lions do the things they do, I don’t know why I have to suffer all these wounds, I’ve never been to the sea and seen the monsters of the deep.”

And then it states in the song,

“I don’t know how many stars are in a starry night sky, I don’t even know the name of my perfect wife. But God knows he knows, and Jesus knows he knows,

And then it goes into the chorus

“Jesus I love you.”

So what happened was that in the book of Job, Job was going through the worst of the worst and God had allowed it to happen.

And the book of Job describes Job as a perfect man, one who “loved God and eschewed evil.”

And Even still, God had allowed all of those bad things to happen to Job.

Job was a wealthy man, and he lost everything, his children died, his land got destroyed, his cattle got destroyed, everything was destroyed.

And then finally, Job DEMANDED that God would answer him

And so God came down in a whirlwind and said to Job,

Fine Job, I’ll answer you, but first, Do you know why the lions do the things they do?

And then God asks Job questions about the universe and the seas and then he states, “Have you ever been to the sea and seen the monsters of the deep?”

And in the midst of all this trouble, God said to Job, “declare if thou knowest all!”

And at the end God compared the earth to two animals, we’re not sure if these animals were real or fictitious but God compared the earth to those two animals and said, “Now the world is like these two animals, They’re beautiful and majestic, yet wild and dangerous.”

And at the end, God doesn’t really answer Job as to why all of those bad things happened, however, the purpose of the story is that even though we could still be the best, the worst can come to our lives and we must maintain our integrity with the Lord.

And at the end of God’s tour of the universe, Job fell down on his knees and WORSHIPPED the Lord and he said, “I am nothing but a sinful man.”

And so then, God gave back everything that was Job’s and more!

And Job lived to be 120 years old and the bible said that he died a happy man.

So that’s why I made that song, I state, “I don’t know why the lions do the things they do, I don’t know why I have to suffer all these wounds, I’ve never been to the sea and seen the monsters of the deep.

And that’s why I say Jesus I love you

Because this is like me because I have complained about the difficult things in life before and God has responded with this book that is in the bible.

That’s why I say Jesus I love you, because this is me saying I’m sorry to God.

This is my worship to the Lord.
