Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all what I learned in Sunday church today.
Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.
At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to guide us throughout all of our lives. Ask God to help renew our mind. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.
Now back to the show
Sunday church

What a beautiful day today was.
The weather was around 65 degrees, it was sunny, there was a slight breeze and I got to enjoy a lot of today.
Also, it was sunday!
I started this morning actually really early.
I woke up at around 5 in the morning and I tried to work on my blog a little bit, but I couldn’t find the strength.
And then I just watched YouTube for a majority of the morning until it was time to go to church.
And what I learned at church was amazing.
Renewing the mind and putting away the old man.
Today in church, we talked about the old man.
In this instance, we weren’t talking about an age or a number, we were talking about the person that we once were before we got to know Christ.
And it’s funny, the pastor was using metaphors that really put a concentration as to what the old man was.
He described the old man as someone foolish and without reason.
He described the old man as a child.
And the point of the sermon was to focus our praying efforts on renewing the mind.
Because by renewing our mind, the Lord will take control of our mind and give us the things that we want and need.
He also described the old man as someone who conflicts with the new man. The new man is always at war with the old man and does his best to follow the spirit rather than the flesh.
So he described the conflict between the new man and the old man as a battle.
And the battle is for control over the mind.
And that’s why God wants us to renew our minds, so that we may get the things that we need, deserve, and want.
I felt like this really spoke to me

You know, I never really knew what being a Christian meant.
And I figured out that it’s a process with God. It’s a long process that requires us to dedicate our lives to the Lord.
It’s not a process like anything else.
It’s a process to become a mature Christian, but it’s not a process to start getting to know God.
There are stages in a person’s life as a Christian. The beginning stage and the advance stage.
The beginning stage is the stage where we will take in the word of God with ease, the advance stage is where we will consume more in depth knowledge of the Lord. In the advance stage, you will believe and listen to things that would’ve been difficult to believe if it were not for your walk with the Lord.
It’s like experience in a workplace. You start off at the bottom tier and you advance through the ranks and until you have the basics down, you can then start doing the advance things. That’s how it works.
But the burden is light and the wisdom is immense. So I encourage anyone who has never really tried to be with God to try and find him for he is the best decision that you will ever make.
