Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all how to identify someone if they are Christian or not.

Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to listen to him. Ask God to help us to see if people are really Christian or not. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Now back to the show

How to identify if someone is actually Christian or not?

So I will often hear people who will look at a person and say, “wow that person is really good, they must have God with them!”

And then two weeks later they renounce their faith in the Lord because this person that they looked up to had committed a sin.

And I’m honestly left astonished at this fact.

The reason is because where did your faith lie in? Did your faith lie with a man or with God?

Because the bible says that NO ONE is good. The bible says that we all have sin. Therefore, if we know that sin exists in every one of our lives, what are we supposed to expect from one another?

And besides even if that person didn’t sin, is anyone perfect? Are people perfect? There is no one that is perfect so they were bound to mess up somehow, someway, and no one is going to change the fact that the person sinned and did something bad.

So I just want to be clear about that first, that no one is perfect and you can’t expect people to be perfect, not even Christians.

Now that we got that out of the way

Okay German, Christians aren’t perfect, but some people claim to be Christian and really are not, how are we supposed to identify which ones are which?

Well there are a few methods that you can do to identify the person.

One is to pray about it.

Pray about this person that’s in your life and see for yourself using bible principles and wisdom to differentiate whether or not they are Christian in truth.

The second is to use your own judgements to see if that person really does say what they mean to say.

Remember how I said that no one is perfect including Christians, though you might see that a Christian might curse or sing worldly music, you have to understand that truly becoming a real Christian is also a process.

I’ll be honest, because I’m more honest that I am anything else, I am fighting to stop cursing.

I don’t curse at my house, and I’m down to cursing like 1 or 2 a month.

But it was God who gave me the strength to not curse. God strengthened my heart to not curse.

I still listen to worldly music, but I’ll be honest, it’s becoming more rare that I do.

And it is the Lord who is giving me strength.

I admit that those things are wrong and I shouldn’t be doing them, that’s how honest I am. But I still do it. And I am asking the Lord for strength to stop.

And I’ll tell you something else. The Lord knows the battles that I have in my life. The Lord understands all of the problems that I face. So when I lay my burdens on the Lord, he already knows and he’s just happy that I went to him for the problems.

So like, that’s why I say that you need to pray to God to help you see if someone is really Christian or not.

Because God is the one that truly knows the hearts of people. God is the one who knows people’s lives and spirits. God knows the truth. So leave it up to God to surround yourself with people who actually love him.

If you’re a Christian and you want to get into a relationship with someone else, it’s important to note that they should be Christian as well.

Because all of those morals will count when raising children or a household. All of that wisdom is going to benefit both of you when it gets down to it.

*** I will say this though, there are a lot of people out there who lie. There are a lot of people out there who don’t really have God. So, don’t be surprised if you find out that a lot of times you’ll be the only Christian in the place. Be the light that there is in the world.***
