Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to give some recommendations on some websites that are needed by Christian musicians.
Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.
At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the person that he wants us to become. Ask God to give us wisdom through the internet, good wisdom that helps to further his mission and goals. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.
Now back to the show
CD baby DIY musician
I think that the DIY musician blog actually has a lot of valuable insight as to how to have a music career in this day and age. I think that I have actually learned a lot from reading their blog posts and just by their titles, I am often astonished as to how much insight they give.
I first saw this on the internet back around 2 years ago.
I was actually doing some research for my blog and I stumbled across this music blog.
And I thought wow, more musicians need to read this blog!
And I loved the way that everything was written. Everything was simple and it just felt like really easy pieces of content to digest that made the most difficult concepts easy.
The letters are nice and big, and the website is super easy to navigate.
Bandzoogle blog
I found this blog around the same time that I found the CD baby blog.
And in my point of view, it is actually very similar to the CD baby blog.
I love the layout and the simplicity of it all. Sometimes It’s difficult to really find what you are looking for in a blog because it’s all hidden somewhere.
Anyways, Bandzoogle is a way for musicians to build an online following straight from the Bandzoogle website.
I think that it is very resourceful for a music blog to be present in a platform that helps musicians to get further down the road, which is something else that CD baby does.
Udemy
Udemy is actually an app.
You can use it on your computer, but it’s actually an app that you learn lessons from .
They get you certified in different skills, the certifications are non-accredited, but many employers actually look to see if you can actually do the job first rather than have credentials. So like that’s the plus side about it.
They have a wide array of lessons INCLUDING music lessons and certificates.
I actually learned how to mix on that website.
But they also teach things like business administration, taxes, word documents, etc. etc. So like if you need more skills to help you in a career that will help your music, then by all means learn that skill.
But if you want music skills, then of course learn the music skills.
So it’s a win win.
Of course it costs money, but the courses are sometimes given at really low rates, I got my mixing masterclass for only 12 dollars and it was a blessing to learn how to do that.
WordPress
I think wordpress is actually the epitome of a musician’s marketing plan. Through wordpress, you can actually market your music using a blog. (Which is recommended by CD baby and Bandzoogle.)
WordPress also has some articles on their own blog as to how someone can gain a following.
Also, wordpress.com can actually be free.
I have my site right here for free and it’s a blast and a half having it.
YouTube
This is the last social media that I’m going to talk about because there are so many different avenues that you can go after but I think that YouTube is the most valuable to musicians.
Youtube in a way has grown to be a very valuable asset to the up and coming musician.
The up and coming musician can work at their YouTube channel and expose in depth with videos about their expertise and understanding of music.
It is also a great marketing tool.
Therefore, YouTube has to be one of the websites that I would recommend for all Christian musicians.

Broadcast
I sure hope that I have been an inspiration and a hope to you all. Please remember to pray, read your bible, go to church, and love God above all else. Like, comment, share, subscribe, and I will see you all next time.
If you want to go to heaven, then believe in Jesus and you will go to heaven. (John 3:16)
Thank you all for listening in on this blog post.
