Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to follow him for the rest of our lives. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

How to get good music gear for cheap

Back in the 60s and 70s digital music gear was the latest thing, if it was even out yet. 

And even still some people preferred analog over digital anyday, to this day some people still prefer analog over digital. However, all of the equipment has gone down in price tremendously.

So it’s important to note that even though starting a home studio might be a little expensive, it doesn’t have to be ridiculous either. 

And if you have a regular 9 to 5 or can wait until christmas time to receive a good present from your parents, you could probably get the things that you need in order to start making and recording music. 

I know personally that my guitar costs more than my DAW, mic, and cables combined. 

That is of course because I needed good equipment really cheap. 

So if you  can afford a guitar, then you can afford recording equipment. 

Now, I’m speaking as if though you live in the United States where many people have computers in their house. 

So if you don’t have a computer, you have to try and find a way to put a computer in your house. 

Now, I know that there are countries out there that can’t afford to put a computer in their house and maintain the wifi. 

To that I say, pray to God to provide for you. If this is really something that he wants for you.

Let me share with you all a story about my uncle. 

My uncle is actually a doctor. 

Like a real medical doctor that specializes in kidnies. 

And he said, “You know when I was going through medical school, there were always costs related to the whole process. And everytime I asked God to provide, he provided so that I can get my college degrees.”

And let me tell you this, my uncle came from a third world country. 

My uncle lived in a country where there was a civil war going on. 

So don’t take my word for it, but rather, take the word of all of those people who came from third world countries and succeeded in life. 

By the way, this doctor uncle that I have is also a lawyer right here in the United States. 

Anyways, equipment is actually really cheap and you can get it new too! 

I personally got my mic, DAW, cables, and monitor headphones for less than 250.

Of course it wasn’t the professional version, it was the artist version, but still it came with a lot of tools that I really needed and really all the things that I needed was in that program. 

And I got all of that new at Guitar Center. 

And with those monitor headphones you can actually mix in those headphones too and they are really good too.
