I have some fears but I trust in the Lord above all else

The Lord is good, the Lord is great. 

I have faith in the Lord that he will be the one to guide me wherever I need to go.

Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the person that he wants us to become. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Trust the Lord

You know, I was always scared of bad things happening.

Like any normal person should be scared. 

However, I just realized today what trusting in God actually means.

It means to trust him no matter what. 

It means to believe in him no matter what. 

It means to love him, no matter what. 

Of course my favorite book in the bible is Job and in that book, the worst things that could have happened to a man, happened to Job.

And yet Job maintained his integrity with the Lord. 

And I’ll admit it, I sometimes hit a bump in the road and I automatically abandon God. 

However, that’s not the way that God wants it.

God wants it where we keep our faith in the Lord.

God wants it where we keep our integrity with him. 

God wants it where we live for him no matter what. 

And it’s strange because we ask ourselves during these difficult situations, “How am I supposed to believe in God when all these bad things are happening?” 

How am I supposed to believe in God when the world is coming down on me?

And the answer is simple really, we must pray to God to give us strength to keep our integrity with him.

And ultimately that’s all that we can do sometimes. 

Because if we’re honest, we alone don’t have the strength to fight our inner battles.

Our inner battles are just really hard to fight sometimes and we need someone else to help us to fight our battles. 

But this person that helps us has to be strong. 

And this person has to be able to change us.

But who can change us?

Who has the power and strength to change our emotions and inner thoughts? 

When we can’t change them ourselves sometimes. 

It’s God. 

God is the one that changes our emotions, our thoughts, our feelings, our attitudes, our moral, our spirit, everything that we are.

So, we must trust in the Lord because he is that powerful and much more too! 

He answers prayers, he loves us, he is always looking to be that person where you can go to. 

He hears all of our cries, he is our only comforter in desperation. 

He is always there watching everything.

So have faith in him.
